CHICKEN SOFT TACOS
My family loves these tacos. The chicken filling cooks in the slow-cooker, so it's convenient to throw it together before I leave for work. At the end of the day, I just have to roll it up in a soft taco shell with the remaining ingredients and dinner's ready in minutes. - Place the chicken in a 4-qt. slow cooker. In a small bowl, combine the tomato sauce, chiles, onion, chili powder, Worcestershire sauce and garlic powder; pour over chicken. Cover and cook on low until chicken is tender and juices run clear, 5-6 hours., Remove the chicken. Shred meat with two forks and return to the slow cooker; heat through. Spoon 1/2 cup chicken mixture down the center of each tortilla. Top with cheese, salsa, lettuce, tomato and sour cream if desired; roll up.

EASY CHICKEN SOFT TACOS
These easy Chicken Soft Tacos with a homemade taco seasoning blend are ready in fifteen minutes and always a huge hit!

Steps:
- Mix together all the spices in a small bowl. Add the lime juice.
- Add the chicken to a bowl, shallow dish, or ziploc bag. Add the spices and lime juice and use tongs to make sure the chicken is evenly coated. If you have time, let this rest for up to thirty minutes. If not, you can move on to the next step right away. It will still pack in plenty of flavor.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat with the oil. Once hot, add the chicken. Cook for 7-10 minutes, stirring occasionally until chicken is just cooked through. To ensure the chicken stays tender, try not to over-cook it. Remember it will continue to cook while you warm the tortillas.
- Remove the chicken and let rest while you heat up the tortillas.
- Serve with your favorite taco toppings - salsa, pico de gallo, cheese, avocado, guacamole, diced onions, cilantro, etc.

This is very close facsimile to Del Tacos chicken soft taco. As good as their tacos are these have a lot more flavor. Quick and simple to make.

- Sauce:.
- For sauce combine ranch dressing, sour cream, lime juice, garlic powder and salt and whisk well. Refrigerate and store up to 3 weeks.
- Chicken:.
- Cut the chicken into 1 inch pieces.
- In a bowl, add lime juice, garlic, taco seasoning mix, 1 tablespoon of oil and brown sugar. Whisk well and add the cut up chicken. Cover and marinate for 4-6 hours.
- In a pan over medium heat, heat 1 tablespoon oil. Add chicken and cook, stirring occasionally, until lightly browned and cooked through. Remove from heat and keep warm.
- Heat tortillas in oven or microwave.
- To assemble, place chicken in the middle of warmed tortilla, top with lettuce and tomato, drizzle sauce, and sprinkle cheese.

COPYCAT CHIPOTLE GRILLED STEAK SOFT TACOS
This Copycat Chipotle Grilled Steak Soft Taco recipe uses a easy adobo marinade. Make the marinade throw the steak in the fridge overnight; be a taco superstar at dinnertime!

- Marinade:.
- To the bowl of a food processor or blender add 1/2 cup water, onion, garlic, 2 tablespoons adobo sauce (from can of chili's), 1 chipotle chili, also from can, chile powder, 1 tablespoon oil, 1 teaspoon salt, cumin, vinegar, oregano, and black pepper.
- Blend until completely smooth, add 1/2 cup water stirring to combine.
- Place steak in a large non-reactive container, with enough room for the adobo sauce.
- Pour sauce over steak, turning chicken to coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for 10 to 12 hours (overnight) for the most intense flavor; steak can be marinated for up to 2 days. Remove steak from marinade, pat dry with paper towels, and place in a medium bowl. Season with remaining teaspoon salt.
- Cook Steak:.
- In a large skillet over medium heat remaining 2 tablespoons oil. Add steak to the skillet and cook until underside is deep brown, about 4 minutes; turn and cook until the golden brown on the other side, another 4-5 minutes. Cook until the internal temperature of the steak reaches 135F (for rare) on a instant- read thermometer or 145F for medium rare.
- Remove to a cutting board and tent with foil for 10 minutes. Slice into small pieces.
- Assemble Tacos:.
- Dividing evenly, mound tortillas with Copycat Chipotle Grilled Steak, Monterey jack cheese, shredded lettuce, Copycat Chipotle Fresh Tomato Salsa or desired toppings.
SOFT CHICKEN TACOS
