Found this one in the DMN and I am posting for safe-keeping. This sounds like it would be great for the less tender steaks to cook on the grill or inside in a skillet.

Ingredients

1 teaspoon lime peel, grated
1/4 cup lime juice
2/3 cup beer
2 garlic cloves, finely minced
1/4 teaspoon hot sauce
4 (4 ounce) boneless beef eye round steaks, 1-inch thick
salt and pepper

Steps:

Combine lime peel, lime juice, beer, garlic and hot sauce in a shallow, non-reactive container or a zip-lock bag.
Add steaks, turning to coat. Cover and refrigerate for several hours.
Cook steaks for 8 to 10 minutes, turning once. Salt and Pepper to taste.

Ingredients

1 medium lime ( juiced )
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 teaspoon ground coriander
2 (8-ounce) beef eye of round steaks (cut 1 inch thick)

Steps:

Gather the ingredients.
Make the marinade by combining lime juice, salt, garlic powder, cumin, pepper, and coriander.
Use a fork to deeply prick the steaks all over on both sides.
Place the steaks in a resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over the steaks, making sure to coat them well. Let marinate at room temperature for 30 minutes, turning once.
Heat an outdoor grill , indoor grill, or grill pan on the stovetop and remove the steaks from the marinade.
Place the steaks on a hot grill (or grill pan that has been very lightly coated with cooking spray) and cook each side for 4 to 5 minutes, or until done to your liking.
Let the meat rest for 10 minutes. Enjoy whole or sliced against the grain .

Adapted from Steve Raichlen's The Barbecue! Bible. This is a quick, easy marinade that makes an amazing grilled steak. The key to making this REALLY fast is to use a thin cut steak and only cook it for a couple of minutes on each side. I serve with grilled vegetables and rice for a complete meal. Prep time includes 30 minutes of marinating in the fridge.

Ingredients

4 garlic cloves, peeled
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1/4 cup lime juice, fresh is best
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 lb steak, cut 1/2 inch thick

Steps:

Combine all ingredients except for the steaks in a food processor or blender. Process until the mixture is a smooth liquid paste.
On a plate or in a zip top bag, combine 1/2 of the marinade with the steaks, making sure the meat is well coated. Let sit in the refrigerator for 1/2 hour. Reserve the remaining marinade.
Grill the steaks over high heat, 2-3 minutes per side, basting if desired with the remaining marinade.
Remove to a serving dish, brush with any remaining marinade, and serve.
