EASY TRIPLE BERRY SANGRIA



Easy Triple Berry Sangria image

Everyone loves this simple sangria recipe with mixed berries, orange, and just the right amount of sweetness. Mix up at lunch and serve on the porch in evening!

2 cups mixed berries
¼ cup granulated sugar
1 orange (cut into wedges)
1 bottle red wine ((Merlot works well))
½ cup brandy or vodka
2 cups club soda
mint leaves
whole berries

Steps:

  • Combine the berries and sugar in a medium bowl. Set aside at room temperature about 30 minutes until the berries are juicy and the sugar is mostly dissolved.
  • Place the orange wedges and juicy berries into a pitcher and add the wine and and liquor. Stir, cover, and place in the fridge for 2-4 hours to infuse the wine with the fruit flavor.
  • Just before serving, stir in the club soda and serve over ice. Add whole berries, mint leaves, and additional orange slices to the glass, if desired. Refrigerate any leftovers and drink within 1 day.

1/2 cup fresh berries (mixture of blueberries, sliced strawberries and raspberries)
4 oz red wine
1 oz vodka
1/2 oz orange liqueur (dry curacao or Triple Sec)
Ice
sparkling water/soda (optional)

Steps:

  • In a large glass add the wine, vodka, and fruit.
  • Refrigerate for at least one hour to allow the fruit flavors to infuse with the wine.
  • When ready to serve, add ice to your favorite glass & pour in the sangria.
  • Top off with soda water, if desired.

1 (750 ml) bottle beaujolais wine or 1 (750 ml) bottle red Zinfandel wine, chilled
2 cups cranberry-raspberry juice, cocktail chilled
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons sugar
1 pint strawberry, hulled
1 pint raspberries
2 small oranges, sliced

Steps:

  • Combine wine, juice, and 1/2 cup sugar in a serving bowl.
  • In food processor puree half of strawberries, half of raspberries, and 1/2 cup sugar. Mix with wine. If preparing the day ahead stop here.
  • Slice rest of strawberries and mix with 2 T of sugar.
  • When ready to serve add sliced strawberries and raspberries and orange slices to wine.
  • Pour into glasses and serve or serve in punchbowl.

½ cup blueberries
½ cup blackberries
½ cup raspberries
1 orange, sliced
½ cup sliced fresh strawberries
2 (750 milliliter) bottles red wine
2 cups vodka

1 (32 fluid ounce) bottle club soda

Steps:

  • Combine cherries, blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries in a bowl. Muddle together to release juices.
  • Transfer muddled berries to a punch bowl. Add orange and strawberries. Pour in red wine, vodka, and triple sec; stir to combine. Cover and refrigerate until sangria flavors combine, 8 hours to overnight.
  • Fill a glass with ice and pour in sangria. Top with club soda to taste.
