MOM'S BAKED BEANS II
I'm not sure how it started but we have to have this dish at EVERY holiday meal, or there's mutiny!

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Place bacon and onions in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Drain and set aside.
- In a large bowl combine beans, molasses, mustard, salt, tomatoes, brown sugar, dry mustard, ham, onions and crumbed bacon. Mix well and transfer to a 2 quart casserole dish.
- Bake in preheated oven, covered, for 1 hour. Uncover and bake for 1 hour more.

A quick and easy way to dress up ordinary pork and beans. The measurements are estimates, but really you can adjust anything to personal taste.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- In a 9x9 inch baking dish, combine the pork and beans, brown sugar, onion, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce and vinegar and season with salt and pepper to taste. Top with the bacon slices.
- Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 1 hour, or until sauce is thickened and bacon is cooked.

EASY BAKED BEANS

- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Fry the bacon in a large skillet over medium-high heat until crisp. Remove the bacon from the pan, leaving the drippings, and drain it on paper towels. Crumble and set aside.
- Add the onion to the pan with the bacon drippings and saute until softened, a couple minutes. Stir in the beans, molasses, brown sugar, mustard and crumbled bacon, and mix well.
- Pour the beans into a 3-quart casserole and bake, uncovered, for about 45 minutes.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Cook bacon in large skillet until fat is rendered and lightly brown, about 5 minutes.
- Drain fat; save 2 tbsp.
- fat and cook onion, garlic, and ginger until onion is tender, about 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat.
- Stir in beans, sugar, molasses, bbq sauce, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, and vinegar.
- Season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Place bean mixture in an oven-proof baking dish or casserole; bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until thickened.
- Alternatively, they can be cooked on a bbq grill, away from the flames or coals, approximately 30 minutes, or until thick.

It is a recipe I came up with by playing around and everyone loves them. I have them when I have barbecues or with a catfish or chicken fry!!! As far as taste it all blends in and is just awesome.

- Mix pork and beans, brown sugar, onion, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, barbecue sauce, and liquid smoke together in baking pan.
- Place bacon on top.
