CHEESEBURGER NACHOS
If you can't decide between serving nachos or cheeseburgers at your next party, then don't! Homemade chips each topped with all the bacony, cheesy, meaty flavors of a great burger are the marriage of the century -- you'll definitely say "I do."

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Brush both sides of the tortillas with 1 tablespoon oil. Stack the tortillas and cut the pile into quarters. Spread the chips out in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake until crisp and just beginning to turn golden brown, rotating the pan halfway through, 14 to 16 minutes. (Leave the oven on.)
- Meanwhile, mix the pickles and onions in a small bowl and set aside. Heat the remaining tablespoon oil in a medium skillet. Add the ground beef and 1/2 teaspoon salt and cook over medium heat, breaking it up into small pieces and stirring occasionally, until browned and cooked through, 8 to 10 minutes. Stir in 16 pieces of the American cheese and cook, stirring often, until the cheese is melted, 2 to 3 minutes.
- Evenly divide the beef mixture among the tortilla chips. Place one piece of American cheese over the beef on each chip and bake until the cheese is melted, 4 to 5 minutes. Evenly top each chip with the pickle mixture, and then with some bacon. Top the chips with a squeeze of ketchup and mustard and serve.
THE BEST BACON CHEESEBURGER
While we love a grilled burger, this one is our go-to for all seasons. Instead of making a typical patty, we smash the meat in a super-hot cast-iron pan to get crispy, ruffled edges. Once you smash your burgers this way, you'll never go back! We top them with all the fixings, including our perfectly balanced special sauce. It's what we consider an iconic burger.

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
- Combine the mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, relish and vinegar in a small bowl; set aside.
- Working in batches if necessary, add the bacon to a large cast-iron skillet over medium heat. Cook, flipping halfway through, until crisp and golden, about 10 minutes. Transfer the bacon to a nonstick baking sheet. Discard the bacon fat (or save for another use) and wipe the skillet clean but do not wash. Heat over medium-high heat until very hot, about 5 minutes.
- Add the buns split-side up to the baking sheet with the bacon and bake until the buns are toasted, about 5 minutes.
- Loosely form the beef into 4 balls. Add one ball of beef to the skillet and press firmly to flatten with a large flat metal spatula for 10 seconds, then gently remove the spatula. Sprinkle the patty generously with salt; repeat with the remaining beef balls, cooking in batches if necessary. Let cook, undisturbed, until well browned on the bottoms, 2 to 3 minutes. Flip the patties, sprinkle with more salt and top each with a slice of Cheddar. Continue cooking until the cheese is melted around the edges and the bottoms are browned, about 2 more minutes.
- Spread the mayonnaise mixture on the bun tops. Serve the patties on the bottom buns topped with the bacon, onion, tomato and lettuce.
BACON CHEESEBURGER SLIDER BAKE
I created this dish to fill two pans because these cheeseburger sliders disappear fast. Just cut the slider burgers recipe in half if you want to make only one batch. -Nick Iverson, Denver, Colorado

Sprinkle each pan of rolls with 1 cup cheese. Bake until cheese is melted, 3-5 minutes., In a large skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until beef is no longer pink and onion is tender, breaking beef into crumbles, 6-8 minutes; drain. Stir in tomatoes, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Cook and stir until combined, 1-2 minutes., Spoon beef mixture evenly over rolls; sprinkle with remaining cheese. Top with bacon. Replace tops. For glaze, in a microwave-safe bowl, combine butter, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce and mustard. Microwave, covered, on high until butter is melted, stirring occasionally.
