ARUGULA AND ROMAINE SALAD WITH RED GRAPES

Arugula and Romaine Salad with Red Grapes image

I looked into my refrigerator to see what I had...and the ingredients jumped to my imagination. I thought: I think this has to taste good and go well with my baked grouper dinner...and it was not only good but great! The mild bitterness of the arugula and the sweetness of grapes and pickled veggies is a perfect combination. A cool crisp pinot bianco is the perfect match.

  • Arugula Salad with Shaved Parmesan, Lemon, & Olive Oil. This classic Italian salad is so simple to make, and best of all, it’s so delicious. All you need is a few handfuls of arugula, some shaved parmesan, a couple of drizzles of extra virgin olive oil, a little squeeze of lemon, and voila!
  • Arugula Salad with Shaved Parmesan. The best part about the arugula-parmesan combo is that you can customize it to no end! This recipe adds honey in addition to the lemon and olive oil dressing to add a touch of sweetness to these leafy greens.
  • Grilled Peach Salad with Goat Cheese & Sweet Honey Balsamic Dressing. If you’ve never grilled a peach, this is your sign to give it a try. It unlocks a sweet juiciness that tastes unlike anything you’ve ever tried before.
  • Baby Arugula and Strawberry Salad with Feta. Okay, strawberries in a salad are a game-changer. I’m willing to argue with anyone that the red berries need to be a staple in any summer salad.
  • Hearty Sweet Potato, Arugula & Wild Rice Salad with Ginger Dressing. Sweet potatoes and arugula go so well together in my opinion. The peppery flavor of the arugula enhances the earthiness of the sweet potato, creating a sugary savoriness that really makes a statement.
