These make ahead toothpick appetizers are served cold, so no need to worry about keeping your appetizers hot during a party or get together. 8 ounces arugula
8 slices cooked thick cut bacon (cut into 1 inch strips)
8 ounces blackberries
8 ounces (1 inch) brie cubes (rind removed)
8 ounces cherry tomatoes
1/2 large English cucumber (cut into 1 inch wedges)
1 cup (1 inch) toasted french bread cubes
1/4 cup honey
8 ounces mini mozzarella balls
1/3 cup pesto
1 cup (1 inch) pineapple cubes
8 ounces prosciutto (rolled into 1 inch sticks)
1/3 cup ranch dressing
1 cup (1 inch) romaine lettuce chunks (bottom (light green) part only)
8 ounces sweet cherry peppers

Steps:

  • To a 4 inch toothpick skewer, thread a piece of french bread, mozzarella, prosciutto, and cherry tomato. Drizzle with pesto.
  • To another 4 inch toothpick skewer, thread a piece of romaine, cucumber, tomato, sweet cherry pepper, and bacon. Drizzle with ranch
  • To another 4 inch toothpick skewer, thread a piece of mozzarella, arugula, sweet cherry pepper, and bacon. Drizzle with pesto.
  • To another 4 inch toothpick skewer, thread a piece of brie, pineapple, and blackberry. Drizzle with honey.
  • To another 4 inch toothpick skewer, thread a piece of brie, pineapple, and arugula.
  • To another 4 inch toothpick skewer, thread a piece of bacon, romaine, and French bread. Drizzle with ranch.
  • To another 4 inch toothpick skewer, thread a piece of French bread, blackberry, and prosciutto. Drizzle with honey.
  • To another 4 inch toothpick skewer, thread a piece of bacon, prosciutto, arugula, French bread, and mozzarella.
  • To another 4 inch toothpick skewer, thread a piece of cucumber, brie, and cherry tomato.
  • To another 4 inch toothpick skewer, thread a piece of French bread, sweet cherry pepper, and prosciutto. Drizzle with pesto.
  • To another 4 inch toothpick skewer, thread a piece of cherry tomato, mozzarella, and prosciutto.
  • To another 4 inch toothpick skewer, thread a piece of romaine, bacon, and mozzarella. Drizzle with pesto.
  • To another 4 inch toothpick skewer, thread a piece of cherry tomato, arugula, and mozzarella. Drizzle with pesto.
  • To another 4 inch toothpick skewer, thread a piece of French bread, pineapple, and bacon. Drizzle with honey.
  • To another 4 inch toothpick skewer, thread a piece of blackberry, French bread, arugula, and prosciutto. Drizzle with honey.
  • Repeat above combinations until all your ingredients run out. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve (see note below).

toothpicks
½ pound fully cooked kielbasa or Polish sausage, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
1 (10 ounce) jar red or green maraschino cherries, drained
1 (5 ounce) jar small green olives
1 (8 ounce) package processed cheese food, cubed

Steps:

  • Onto each toothpick, place one piece of sausage, one cherry, one olive and one cube of cheese. Arrange them neatly on a plate. Eat the entire contents of the toothpick at once, but don't eat the toothpick!

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 package (9 ounces) refrigerated cheese tortellini
40 pimiento-stuffed olives
40 large pitted ripe olives
3/4 cup Italian salad dressing
40 thin slices pepperoni
20 thin slices hard salami, halved

Steps:

  • Cook tortellini according to package directions; drain and rinse in cold water. In a large bowl, combine the tortellini, olives and salad dressing. Toss to coat; cover and refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight., Drain mixture, discarding marinade. For each appetizer, thread a stuffed olive, a folded pepperoni slice, a tortellini, a folded salami piece and a ripe olive on a toothpick or short skewer.

These cute kabobs from Pat Schmidt of Sterling Heights, Michigan will lend a little Italian flavor to any get-together. Cheese tortellini is marinated in salad dressing, then skewered on toothpicks along with stuffed olives, salami and cheese.

18 refrigerated cheese tortellini
1/4 cup fat-free Italian salad dressing
6 thin slices (4 ounces) reduced-fat provolone cheese
6 thin slices (2 ounces) Genoa salami
18 large pimiento-stuffed olives

Steps:

  • Cook tortellini according to package directions; drain and rinse in cold water. In a resealable plastic bag, combine the tortellini and salad dressing. Seal bag and refrigerate for 4 hours. , Place a slice of cheese on each slice of salami; roll up tightly. Cut into thirds. Drain tortellini and discard dressing. For each appetizer, thread a tortellini, salami roll-up and olive on a toothpick.

8 teaspoons olive oil

Steps:

  • Thread each salami roll, mozzarella cheese, olive, tomato, artichoke heart, and basil roll onto each toothpick, respectively. Arrange toothpicks on a serving platter and drizzle olive oil over each.
