Absolutely delicious, you can try this with any white fish, I have made this with haddock and cod. My kids love the flavor, I love how easy it is. It has bold spices which really draw up the flavor of the fish.

- Spray this fish with olive oil spray, and then place into the air fryer basket or oven. Set the temperature for 400 degrees F, for 4 minutes, after 4 minutes, flip (spray again) and add another 4 minutes.

- Prepare fish1. Add all wet ingredients into a shallow bowl, whisk until smooth and well combined. 2. Place panko breadcrumbs in another shallow bowl. 3. Place tilapia in wet batter, turning over couple of times to make sure that it is coated thoroughly. Lift tilapia with hands or tongs, allowing excess batter to drip off and then place over the bread crumbs. 4. Pack bread crumbs on both sides of the fish (pressing with fingers to adhere). 5. Place on a plate and repeat process with remaining fish. Air Fry 1. Pre heat air fryer to 400°F for 12 minutes. When ready, place tilapia, spacing evenly and spray the top with non-stick cooking spray. 2. Cook for 10 to 12 minutes, spraying a coating of non-stick cooking spray again once in between (this is optional, but it helps in achieving more golden crust), or until it is cooked to your liking. Serve with homemade tartar sauce or make into fish tacos or sandwich. (Refer notes for quick tartar sauce recipe)

AIR FRYER TILAPIA FILLETS - BLACKENED AND LIGHTLY BREADED RECIPE
The first recipe is for an intensely seasoned blackened tilapia with a cooling mango salsa. The second recipe is for lightly breaded tilapia filets with a super easy tartar sauce.

- In a small bowl, combine the diced mango, cucumber, jalapeno, onion, lime juice, cilantro, salt, and pepper. Cover the bowl and refrigerate until ready to serve the tilapia.
- Rinse the fish filets under cold water and dry them well with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, mix together the paprika, onion powder, thyme, oregano, cayenne, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Coat the tilapia filets completely with the olive oil. Press equal amounts of the seasoning into all sides of each filet to completely coat. Allow the fish to sit for 15 minutes at room temperature prior to cooking.
- Set the air fryer to 350°F and 20 minutes. After 5 minutes, place the tilapia in the fryer basket or on the crisper plate. Cook for 6 minutes. Gently flip the filets over and continue to cook for an additional 4 to 6 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F. (If you are afraid the fish will fall apart, don't bother flipping it).
- Place the rice on a large serving platter. Put the tilapia filets on top of the rice and garnish with the lemon wedges. Serve right away with the mango salsa on the side.
LIGHTLY BREADED AIR FRYER TILAPIA

- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F. Meanwhile, pat each tilapia filet dry with a paper towel, then spray with avocado oil spray and sprinkle with salt.
- Mix panko breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, paprika, pepper, and garlic powder in a shallow dish. Place each tilapia filet in the dish and coat with breading. (You most likely won't use up all of the breading.)
- (This is where the magic happens.) Place the breaded filets on a sheet of parchment paper. Lay another piece of parchment paper on top. Use a rolling pin to gently roll over the filets and press the breading into the fish. This step helps the breading adhere to the fish for maximum crispiness!
- Add the tilapia to the preheated air fryer and cook for 7 minutes (or until the fish reaches 145°F).
- Serve immediately with your favorite side dishes and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice!
