EASY LIME AGAVE SALAD DRESSING

Easy Lime Agave Salad Dressing image

Use agave nectar (also called agave syrup) to make a simple homemade salad dressing. This agave nectar and lime salad dressing is a healthy vegan alternative to highly processed store-bought salad dressings.

Categories     Side Dish

Time 5m

Number Of Ingredients 6

2 tablespoons lime zest (zest from two limes)
1/3 cup lime juice
1/4 cup agave nectar
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp black pepper

Steps:

  • Gather the ingredients.
  • In a small bowl, combine the lime zest, lime juice, agave nectar, and olive oil and use a fork or a small whisk to whisk everything together until fully emulsified.
  • Add salt and pepper to taste, and whisk vigorously again to combine. Instead of using a small bowl and a whisk, I also sometimes like to just place everything together in a mason jar, cover, and then shake it all up until fully emulsified. It's kind of fun!
