Assess the Situation—Determine the Tilt. When your drawers are hard to open, it usually means that there is a tilt somewhere. The first step in the process is to determine where this tilt is so that you can adjust the drawer.
Remove the Drawer. The next step is to remove the drawer. Be careful when you do this so that you don’t cause any damage to the drawer that you are removing.
