3 Ingredient Frozen Hot Chocolate Food

FROZEN HOT CHOCOLATE

Steps:

• Break the bittersweet chocolate into pieces and place it in a medium bowl set over a pot of simmering water, stirring occasionally, until just melted. Off the heat, whisk in the cocoa powder, sugar, and half-and-half and set aside.
• Place 3/4 cup of the milk, 2 tablespoons of the coffee liqueur, 1/2 teaspoon of the vanilla, and half of the chocolate mixture in a blender. Add 2 cups of the ice and blend for several minutes, until the mixture is thick but not icy, like a frozen daiquiri. (You can add a little more milk or ice if it's too thick or too thin.) Pour into two (10-ounce) ice cream soda glasses and top each with a generous dollop of whipped cream and some grated chocolate. Repeat for the second two glasses. Serve ice cold with straws and long-handled spoons.
• Place the cream, sugar, and vanilla in the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the whisk attachment and beat on high speed until the cream forms very soft peaks (don't overbeat or the cream will be too firm).

FROZEN HOT CHOCOLATE

Steps:

• Combine sugar, cocoa, and 3 tablespoons milk.
• Microwave on high 1 minute stir in vanilla.
• Pour into freezer-safe container; freeze overnight.
• Scrape into food processor. Add milk and pulse 10 seconds. Pour into glass.

Steps:

• Combine ice cubes, milk, and hot cocoa mix in a blender; blend to milkshake consistency.

"FROZEN" HOT CHOCOLATE

Steps:

• In a small sauce pan over medium/low heat, add the chopped white chocolate and milk, bring to simmer (don't let it boil). Keep stirring until the chocolate is completely melted, remove from heat. Stir in vanilla extract and blue food coloring.
• Pour into mugs, serve with whipped cream and a sprinkle of blue sugar crystals on top.

FROZEN HOT CHOCOLATE

Steps:

• Chop chocolate into small pieces and place in top of double boiler over simmering water, stirring occasionally until melted.
• Add chocolate mix and sugar, stirring constantly until thoroughly blended. Remove from heat and slowly add 1/2 cup milk, stirring until smooth.
• Cool to room temperature.
• In blender, place the remaining 1 cup milk, room-temperature chocolate mixture and ice.
• Blend on high speed until smooth and the consistency of a frozen daiquiri. Pour into a giant goblet and top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.
• Enjoy with a spoon or a straw.

FROZEN HOT CHOCOLATE

Steps:

• Make a bain marie (a bowl sitting in a pot of boiling water).
• Break the chocolate into the bain marie and slowly melt. Add the cinnamon and seeds from the vanilla pod or the extract.
• When the chocolate has melted, pour in the cream and mix well.
• Allow the mixture to sit for a few minutes to take on the flavours of cinnamon and vanilla, then remove the cinnamon and pour the mixture into ramekins, espresso cups or other serving dishes.
• Place on a tray in a freezer and freeze for at least 2 hours.
