CHOCOLATE CAKE IN A MUG

Steps:

• Special equipment: a 12-ounce microwave-safe ceramic mug and a microwave oven
• Put the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt if using in a 12-ounce microwave-safe ceramic mug. Blend thoroughly with a fork. Add the milk, vegetable oil and vanilla if using and blend until smooth. Stir in the chocolate chips.
• Microwave on high for 90 seconds. Do not overcook or the cake will be dry. Let cool for 2 to 3 minutes before eating.

10-MINUTE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE

Steps:

• Mix sugar, flour, milk, olive oil, cocoa powder, egg, vanilla extract, and salt together in a large microwave-safe mug.
• Heat in microwave until center of cake is done, about 2 minutes.

MINUTE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE

Steps:

• Whisk egg, sugar, salt, 2 tablespoons cocoa powder, butter, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract together in a bowl until smooth. Stir coconut, almonds, and chocolate chips into the mixture; whisk in milk.
• Place flour into a small bowl or measuring cup and stir baking powder into flour with a mini whisk or fork. Pour flour mixture over batter and whisk just until you can't see visible flour.
• Divide batter evenly between 2 coffee cups. Gently tap the cups on a work surface to eliminate air bubbles.
• Place cups into microwave oven, one at a time. Microwave each cup on High for 45 seconds. Nothing will happen in the first 30 seconds; in the last 10 to 15 seconds, batter will begin to rise in the cup. Cooked cake will collapse after microwaving. Remove from oven and let cool 2 to 3 minutes.
• Lightly dust each serving with confectioners' sugar and 1/8 teaspoon cocoa. Place each coffee cup onto a saucer and serve.

5 MINUTE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE

Steps:

• Add dry ingredients to a large coffee mug, and mix well. Add the egg and mix thoroughly. Pour in the milk and oil and mix well. Add the chocolate chips (if using) and vanilla extract, and mix again.
• Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts (high). The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed! Allow to cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if desired.

5-MINUTE MUG CHOCOLATE CAKE

Steps:

• Add dry ingredients to a coffee mug and mix well.
• Add the egg and mix thoroughly.
• Pour in the milk and oil and mix well.
• Add the chocolate chips and vanilla essence, mix again.
• Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minuter at 1000 watts.
• The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed!
• Allow to cool a little and you can tip onto a plate if you want.

CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE

Steps:

• In a small mixing bowl, add all dry ingredients (plus optional but highly recommended espresso powder). Whisk to combine.
• Whisk in the vegetable oil and milk until the batter is smooth and there are no lumps. Add optional chocolate chips if desired and stir to mix.
• Pour the cake batter into a mug, there should be enough room for it to rise a bit as it bakes. If adding Nutella, place it in the middle top of the batter in your mug.
• Place the mug on a paper towel in the microwave then cook on high for 1 ½ minutes, or until baked through. The top of the cake should spring back to the touch, if not heat in additional 15 second increments.
• Let your chocolate mug cake set for 1 minute in the microwave before serving.

FIVE-MINUTE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE

Steps:

• 1. Spray your microwavable mug with a non-stick spray.
• 2. Mix these ingredients in your mug: 4 tbs. of flour, 4 tbs. of chocolate powder (I used Milo), 4 tbs. of sugar (or add more if you want to have diabetes), 1 egg, 3 tbs. of milk, 3 tbs. of oil (add semi sweet chocolate chips if you like).
• 3. Microwave for 3 minutes on high.

ONE MINUTE CHOCOLATE CAKE IN A MUG

Steps:

• Mug cake recipe: Combine dry ingredients and mix very, very well. Add liquid, stir, then transfer to a little dish, ramekin, or even a coffee mug. Microwave 30-40 seconds. If you don't want to eat it straight out of the dish, be sure to spray your dish first (and then wait for it to cool before trying to remove it).

Steps:

• Mix all dry ingredients in mug.
• Add Milk, Oil, Vanilla.
• Microwave on high for 2 minutes.
