FIRE CRACKERS
Seasoned saltine crackers that are simple to make and add a special touch for your dips and spreads at parties. I have had these on several occasions at bachelorette parties and babies showers but was never given the recipe. My sister had them recently at a birthday party, got the recipe, and passed it on to me. Unfortunately, I don't know who to credit for this, but it's certainly a keeper!!! Was initially concerned about the amount of oil, but hey, it's party food, RIGHT? I have used whole wheat crackers and different kinds of dip/dressing mixes successfully so have fun and get creative!

Steps:
- Line crackers on ends (like dominoes) in an air-tight container.
- In a small bowl, mix oil, dressing mix, peppers, and garlic powder.
- Stir until all ingredients are well mixed.
- Continue to stir to prevent the pepper from settling on the bottom of the bowl.
- Spoon mixture evenly over crackers, like drizzling icing on a cake.
- Close lid tightly and flip the container over every 5 minutes for about 20 minutes. Lightly shake back and forth to make sure all the crackers are coated.
- Store in a ziplock bag. Will keep for about a week -- if they last that long!

Steps:
- Place all your crackers (all 4 sleeves) upright in a container. I used a square one but you can find one that fits them all. Standing them upright will help distribute the seasoning better.
- Mix your oil and spices together in a bowl.
- Whisk to combine.
- Drizzle over the crackers as evenly as possible. Make sure to scrape out all the seasoning in the bowl. You don't want to miss any.
- Seal the container.
- Flip the container upside down and let sit for 5 minutes.
- Every five minutes, for 30 minutes.
- That's it!
- Store in the container until all have been eaten. It won't take long for them to disappear, but you can store them for up to a week and they will stay crispy!

- Grab a huge ziplock bag. at least a gallon or more. We used a 2 gallon bag for our doubled recipe and it was still more than enough.
- Open the bag and pour in the olive oil, the garlic and onion powder, the black pepper, ranch dressing mix and crushed red pepper flakes.
- Close the bag and using your hands, knead the ingredients together combining the oil and spices. (this can also be done in a bowl and stirred, however you will have a lot of it stick to the sides when pouring it into the bag).
