- In a food processor, combine garbanzo beans, cilantro, lime juice, water, oil, garlic, lime zest, garlic salt and cayenne; cover and process until blended. Serve with vegetables or crackers.

YUMMILICIOUS CILANTRO GARLIC HUMMUS
This is a super easy hummus spread that I just created one night. It's so good I eat it with a spoon! ha ha. It's also good with chips or spread on a sandwich.

- Place garlic in food processor and finely chop.
- Place remaining ingredients (wet last) in the food processor with the garlic and process until mixture forms a paste.

- 1. Get your garlic ready. Set oven to 375. Peel and separate the garlic cloves and make a bowl out of foil. Place the cloves in the foil bowl and cover with the olive oil. Close the bowl up around the garlic till just a pinch is open on top. Put on/in a oven safe pan and roast for 35 to 45 minutes.
- 2. When garlic is done take it out to cool while you prepare the other ingredients. In a food processor or blender put your chickpeas (drained but leave a little water 1/8 cup), lemon, salt, and jalapeno. Blend until most is chopped. Add the garlic along with the oil in the foil and blend until smooth. Now add your cilantro and blend until it is a pretty green color. You can serve it warm or cold with veggies for dipping or on bread.

- Put the chickpeas and the clove of garlic into the bowl of a food processor fitted with the blade attachment. Turn the machine on and let the chickpeas go for about 5 minutes, stopping the machine and scraping down the sides often. Do not add any liquid at this point, even though the mixture is dry. This step helps insure a very creamy hummus. Just keep scraping down the sides.
- Add the tahini and lemon juice and process for another minute or so, still scraping down the sides of the machine as necessary.
- Add enough cold water to loosen the hummus to a dippable consistency, approximately 1/4 cup, but you may need more. The hummus will thicken further as it chills in the fridge, so don't be afraid to add that water to loosen it up.
