Easy Cheesy Garlic Bread image

Cheesy garlic bread is so simple to make with loads of cheese and that soft bread on the inside with the crunchy crust on the outside. This is a family favorite for sure!

1 Loaf French bread
1/2 cup salted butter (softened)
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
3 garlic cloves minced
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 cup Colby jack cheese (shredded)
1 cup mozzarella cheese (shredded)
fresh chopped parsley for garnish

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cut your French bread loaf lengthwise and place on top of a baking sheet.
  • In a small bowl combine softened butter, garlic powder, minced garlic, and Italian seasoning. Spread evenly on each side of the garlic bread. Top with Colby Jack and mozzarella cheese.
  • Bake in the oven for 12-15 minutes until butter is melted an bubbly. You can also broil the top for 1-2 minutes at the end to give it a more crisp top.
  • Garnish with fresh chopped parsley if desired.

This is fantastic. This was posted on a canning list, and this is a definite staple in my fridge. The best thing about it is that you make it, and it keeps in the fridge for up to 2 months. The taste is fantastic!

6 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (at room temp)
1 1/2 cups grated romano cheese
1 1/2 cups grated parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon fresh coarse ground black pepper
1 cup minced garlic
1 cup extra virgin olive oil
2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice

Steps:

  • In large mixing bowl, mix all ingredients together.
  • Fold until all is blended.
  • Keep refrigerated in mason jars with lids, or in containers with tightly fitting lids.
  • To make garlic bread, slice french bread and place on cookie sheet.
  • Spoon spread onto bread.
  • Toast, bake, or broil until cheese is bubbly and nicely browned.

1 loaf French bread, cut in half lengthwise
4 -6 tablespoons softened butter
2 teaspoons garlic granules
2 teaspoons chopped fresh parsley
1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
1 cup grated part-skim mozzarella cheese or 1 cup provolone cheese

Steps:

  • Spread butter on the cut sides of the bread.
  • Sprinkle with garlic and parsley.
  • Place on baking sheet and set under broiler and broil until lightly browned (watch it closely so it doesn't burn).
  • Sprinkle cheeses on the bread and return to the broiler and cook just a little while longer until the cheeses melt.
  • Cut into pieces and serve.
