- Heat grill to medium heat.
- Reserve 2 Tbsp. Gourmet Sauce. Brush remaining sauce onto both sides of chicken. Let stand 10 min.
- Toss vegetables with reserved sauce in large bowl; place in grill basket.
- Grill chicken and vegetables 20 min. or until chicken is done (165ºF) and vegetables are crisp-tender, turning chicken after 10 min. and shaking vegetables in grill basket occasionally.

Steps:
- Spray medium skillet with non-stick cooking spray and cook over medium heat until hot.
- Add the chicken, cover and cook for 15 minutes.
- Turn chicken several times until cooked through.
- Drain liquid from the pan and return to heat.
- Add Mr. Yoshida's Original Gourmet Sauce and turn chicken to coat evenly.
- Cook covered for 10 more minutes, turning chicken often to coat evenly.
- Remove cover and cook for 5 minutes to reduce sauce to a glaze.
EASY HAWAIIAN CHICKEN
A recipe from my Mr. Yoshida's Fine Sauces Cookbook which I haven't tried yet. This could be chicken kabobs: cut the chicken into cubes and thread on soaked skewers with fresh pineapple cubes. I'd serve this with rice, grilled corn on the cob, grilled tomato halves, and garlic bread. Preparation time includes 30 minutes refrigeration time.

Steps:
- In a medium bowl, mix cornstarch with pineapple juice, stirring to dissolve.
- Add Gourmet Sauce, olive oil, and crushed red pepper, stirring well.
- Place chicken in a zip bag; pour marinade over chicken and shake bag.
- Marinate in refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Heat grill to medium low.
- Remove chicken from marinade and grill for 8-10 minutes on each side, or until juices run clear.
- Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, bring marinade to a boil and simmer gently until thickened.
- Serve chicken with heated sauce.

Steps:
- Wash and dry the chicken parts.
- Prepare the onions, carrots and garlic.
- Heat a large skillet and add the oil.
- When oil is very hot, add the chicken and brown on all sides.
- Then add the onion, garlic, and carrots.
- Stir about, getting all the vegetables a little browned and the onion a little softened.
- Drain all the liquid.
- Add the Yoshida sauce and stir.
- Cover and cook for 30 mins, stirring the vegetables and turning the chicken pieces over every 10 mins or so.
- It should be almost sticking and very dark.
- If it's watery it needs more time to cook without a lid.
- You are making a glaze.

YOSHIDA TYPE SAUCE
This sauce is similar to the Yoshida sauce that can be found at costco and other stores. Note that this is not an exact copy but a very similar taste that can be made with ingredients that can be found in your kitchen and not a laboratory.

Steps:
- Combine soy sauce, 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup white sugar, green onions, ginger and garlic in a 2 quart saucepan. Bring the mixture to a slight boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Pour the remaining white and brown sugar and the honey into the saucepan. Bring to a boil. The mixture will rise and foam, when it does this and doubles in size remove the pan from heat and cool.
