Deliciously creamy feta yogurt dressing that's tangy, salty and made with just four core ingredients. This super easy feta yogurt sauce can be used as a dip for veggies or drizzled on salads, bowls and your favorite proteins. The perfect way to use protein-packed greek yogurt!

1 garlic clove (or sub 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder)
1/2 cup plain greek yogurt (whole milk or 2%)
1/4 cup feta crumbles
½ tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1-2 teaspoons water, to thin if necessary
Freshly ground salt and pepper, to taste

Steps:

  • Add the garlic, yogurt, feta and lemon juice to a food processor or blender; process until smooth. Add a bit of salt and pepper to taste and process once more and water if necessary to thin to your liking.

I found this recipe years ago, but made it for the first time recently because it was on an index card I decided NOT to toss. This dressing was a HUGE hit at dinner.

1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon fresh basil

Steps:

  • Combine yogurt, cheese and oil. Mix well.
  • Stir in basil, vinegar, salt and pepper.
  • Chill.
  • Alternatively-Put every thing in the blender and let 'er rip.

1/2 cup plain yogurt, preferably whole-milk
1/2 cup olive oil, or less
1/2 cup chopped fresh mint
Zest and juice of 1 lemon
Salt
Freshly ground black pepper

Steps:

  • In a blender or food processor, combine feta, yogurt, 1/4 cup olive oil, mint, lemon zest and juice; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Blend or process until smooth, adding more oil if you need it to reach a smooth consistency. You can also mash mixture by hand, with a fork.

1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese (about 3 ounces)
1/2 cup plain yogurt
2 1/2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
1 1/2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon dried oregano

Steps:

  • Using fork, mash feta cheese in small bowl. Mix in remaining ingredients. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Let stand 30 minutes to allow flavors to develop. (Sauce can be made 2 days ahead. Cover and refrigerate.)

This is a Pioneer Woman recipe. I substitute yogurt instead of her sour cream. She uses this dressing on chicken salad. I will also try it on pasta salads, potato salads, and green salads. I use Best Foods mayo with olive oil as it is lower in calories than regular Best Foods mayo. This recipe would probably also taste good using buttermilk instead of Half and Half. I will try that next time to further reduce calories.

1 small garlic clove, chopped and mashed to a paste with 1/4 teaspoon salt
freshly ground black pepper to taste

Steps:

  • Chop enough of cucumber to measure 1 cup and in a blender purée with feta, yogurt, and garlic until smooth. Transfer dressing to a bowl and season with pepper and salt. Chill dressing, covered, until cold, about 30 minutes. Dressing may be made 1 day ahead and chilled, covered.
