- BUCKETS. These little buckets ONLY cost a $1 and can be found at dollar stores, Target, Jewel-Osco and most grocery stores. They comes in various colors, patterns and sizes.
- CANDLE JARS. This was an old candle jar. It’s about 7 inches high and 4 inches wide. I remember buying that candle for $5. The candle served its purpose, making my house fragrant.
- SEALED JARS. If you don’t have old candle jars, here’s a cheap jar I bought from Ikea for $2.50. It’s about 4 inches high and about 5 inches wide. The good thing about these jars is that they have an AIRTIGHT SEAL.
- BABY FOOD JARS. Believe it or not but this is a baby food jar. My little one eats baby food and after he is done eating, I wash the jars thoroughly and let them air dry.
- GLASS BOTTLES AND VIALS. If you are giving your loved ones flavored oils, syrups and homemade extracts, you need to use bottles and vials. I bought this one from Meijer for about $2.

- Gift in foil pan. Grab a foil pan (any size) from the grocery store and gift your baked cookies inside! It’s a quick & easy way to make your treats look a little more presentable, rather than just gifting them on a paper plate!
- Gift in a plastic bag. Whether you use a regular ziploc bag or a cellphane treat bag made for cookies, plastic bags are a quick & easy way to package cookies!
- Gift in printable pouch. Skip the store and print off your own cookie pouches at home! These are great for small to medium-sized, flat cookies (like my Kitchen Sink Cookies or One Bowl Chocolate Chip Cookies.
- Gift in a grease-proof pouch. These grease-proof paper bags from Amazon are one of my favorite ways to package cookies. They are inexpensive (100 for around $10), grease-proof, and have a peel-off adhesive strip, making them easy to close and embellish with a tag or twine!
- Gift in box. For a true bakery-style gift, I love to gift cookies in a white bakery box with a window lid. It’s great for sugar cookies (or any frosted cookie!)
