Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
- Place the fig jam in a microwave-safe dish. Microwave for 30 seconds to soften.
- In a small bowl, combine the sliced dried figs with the nuts. Add half of the fig jam and mix well to coat the nut mixture.
- Place the round of brie in a small cast iron skillet or oven-safe dish. Using a small knife, coat the brie with the remainder of the jam or honey.
- Top the brie with the fig and nut mixture.
- Place the dish or skillet on top of a baking sheet (this will make it easier to handle and will also catch any melted cheese). Bake on the middle rack of your heated oven for 10 to 15 minutes or until the brie softens.
- Remove from the oven and let the brie sit for 3 to 5 minutes or so. Serve warm with your favorite crackers!

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Separate the puff pastry and roll each piece into an 8-inch by 8-inch square.
- Whisk the marmalade and Grand Marnier together and set aside.
- Lay a puff pastry square on a flat work surface and place the brie wheel in the center.
- Using a paring knife, cut around the Brie to form a circle that is the same size as the cheese.
- Reserve the scraps of pastry for decorative shapes and set the circle aside.
- Lay the second sheet of puff on the work surface and trim off the corners, to create a large, rough circle.
- Place the Brie in the center and spoon on the marmalade mixture.
- There should be an opening at the top of the cheese.
- Brush the top edges of pastry with the egg and then lay the reserved circle over the top and press down lightly to seal it.
- Brush the top and sides of the package with more egg wash and decorate the top with pastry shapes.
- Place on a parchment lined baking sheet and freeze for 1 hour before baking.
- Bake for 30 minutes, or until the pastry is golden, and cheese is warmed through, and just beginning to melt.

- Carefully peel off the skin of the brie along the top and side (bottom optional).
- Mix orange marmalade and honey dijon mustard.
- Warm this sauce in microwave or over stove-top, low heat.
- Place generous amount of almond slivers on top of the brie, then place in broiler (on the lowest rack) for a few minutes, until the almonds are toasted. The brie should be warmed, but retain its shape.
- Pour sauce over the brie, allowing extra to drizzle onto the plate.
- Serve with crackers and apple slices on the side, to dip into the brie.
