1 kg chicken wings
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup tomato sauce
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
3 tablespoons rice wine
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/4 cup white wine
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons fresh basil
2 tablespoons fresh oregano or 2 tablespoons fresh marjoram

Steps:

  • Cut off the bony tip of the wings and cut the remaining wing into 2 pieces at the joints.
  • Combine all the marinade ingredients in a non-metallic container and toss in the wings.
  • Marinade for 2-4 hours.
  • Preheat the oven to 200oC.
  • Please wings in two separate baking dishes and cook for 30-40 minutes or until cooked through.
  • Serve hot.

1 cup water
1 cup soy sauce
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup pineapple juice (I use 1 small can, about 3/4 c.)
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon ginger
3 -4 lbs cleaned/drained chicken wings

Steps:

  • Mix all ingredients together.
  • Pour over wings.
  • Refrigerate overnight.
  • Arrange wings on foil-lined baking sheets.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.

1 cup orange juice
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1/2 cup soy sauce
3/4 teaspoon grated ginger or 3/4 teaspoon ground ginger

  • Mix together orange juice, garlic salt, soy sauce and ginger; pour over wings in large nonmetal bowl.
  • Refrigerate for at least 1-1/2 hrs or overnight.

These are my husband's favorite kind of wings. Easy to make and delicious. They taste even better if you double the sauce and marinate for 24 hours.

5 tablespoons soy sauce
¼ cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons dry sherry
1 teaspoon prepared yellow mustard
½ teaspoon garlic powder
24 chicken wings

Steps:

  • Whisk together the soy sauce, brown sugar, sherry, mustard, and garlic powder in a bowl. Arrange the chicken wings in a 9x13-inch baking dish, and pour marinade over the chicken. Cover the baking dish with plastic wrap, and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  • Preheat an oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Remove the plastic wrap from the baking dish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until the chicken wings are no longer pink in the center, about 1 hour, basting occasionally.

2 lbs chicken wings, tips discarded
1/4 cup olive oil
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon lemon zest (or more)
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard, coarse grained
6 garlic cloves, chopped
2 teaspoons salt
1 tablespoon fresh ground black pepper

Steps:

  • In a large bowl mix all the ingredients together and add the wings. Stir well and dump into a large zipper top bag.
  • Put the bag on a platter and into the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  • Oil the grates and preheat the grill to high heat.
  • Remove the wings from the marinade and add the marinade to a small saucepan. Bring it to a boil and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Turn one grill section from high to medium heat and start grilling the wings there.
  • Grill the wings for about 10 minutes turning frequently.
  • Baste with some more marinade.
  • Finish the wings for 5 minutes or so (juices should run clear) on the high heat burner. It will crisp them up.

20 chicken wings (about 4 pounds)
1 cup reduced-sodium soy sauce
1/4 cup white wine or reduced-sodium chicken broth
1/4 cup canola oil
3 tablespoons sugar
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon ground ginger

Steps:

  • Cut chicken wings into three sections; discard wing tips. Place in a large resealable plastic bag. In a small bowl, whisk remaining ingredients until blended. Add to chicken; seal bag and turn to coat. Refrigerate overnight., Transfer chicken and marinade to a 5-qt. slow cooker. Cook, covered, on low 3-4 hours or until chicken is tender. Using tongs, remove wings to a serving plate.
