HI, I made this fudge the other day and I must give the recipe 4 stars! The recipe is from the back of Toll House Premier White Morsels by Nestle. Very easy to make and costs less than $3 to make about 50 pieces! I think this would do well at your next school or church bake sale! Maple Walnut Fudge--

Number Of Ingredients 9

2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine
2/3 cup Carnation Evaporated Milk
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups miniature marshmallows (4 ounces)
2 cups NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Premier White Morsels (12 oz package)
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
1 1/2 teaspoons maple extract
to taste walnuts, Chopped (optional)

Steps:

  • Combine butter, evaporated milk,sugar and salt in medium, heavy duty saucepan.
  • Bring to a full rolling boil, stirring constantly, over medium heat. Boil, stirring constantly for 4-1/2 to 5 minutes.
  • Remove from heat. Stir in marshmallows, morsels, nuts and maple flavoring.
  • Stir vigorously for 1 minute or until marshmallows are melted.
  • Pour into buttered 13x9 inch baking pan.
  • (I used a square casserole) Cool until firm.
  • Cut into squares.
  • Makes about 50 pieces Makes a nice, creamy fudge!

Steps:

  • Boil syrup to 234 degrees. Cool quickly. Stir until syrup starts to lighten and thicken. Add nuts. Pour into a buttered 8-inch by 8-inch pan.

1 cup evaporated milk
3 tablespoons butter
3 cups miniature marshmallows
3 cups white chocolate chips
1 cup chopped walnuts
2 1/2 teaspoons maple extract
50 walnut halves

Steps:

  • In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine sugar, evaporated milk and butter.
  • Bring to a boil and let roll 5 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and quickly stir in marshmallows,white chocolate, chopped walnuts and maple flavoring.
  • Spread in a 9x13 inch dish.
  • Top with large walnut pieces, evenly spaced.
  • Chill 8 hours or overnight.

This has got to be the worlds easiest fudge to make, only 3 ingredients. Make sure to use fresh walnuts and pure maple syrup. The better the quality the better the fudge....Enjoy! Please do not substitute the whipping cream for any other type of cream, it will not work.... it requires heavy cream... to set.

2 cups maple syrup, pure
1 cup whipping cream
1 cup walnuts, fresh, chopped

Steps:

  • Line a large platter with plastic wrap.
  • Pour the maple syrup and whipping cream into a deep pan.
  • Properly fix the candy thermometer in the pan so not to touch the sides of the pan, or the bottom of the pan, leave at least a half inch space from the bottom of the pan.
  • Cook on medium-high heat.
  • Occasionally stir gently until thermometer reads 235 degrees (this will take about 20 - 35 minutes).
  • Remove from heat and pour into a large bowl, make sure not to scrap the bottom of the pot.
  • Allow the fudge mixture to cool for 5 minutes without stirring.
  • With a wooden spoon gently stir the chopped walnuts into the fudge for about 3 - 4 minute.
  • When fudge starts to hold its shape without stirring gently scrap onto prepared platter, score into squares and store in a n airtight container.

3 cups pure maple syrup
1 cup heavy cream
3/4 cup walnuts, coarsely chopped
2 tablespoons butter
1 pinch salt

Steps:

  • Generously butter an 8-inch square baking dish.
  • Put maple syrup and cream in saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat.
  • Insert a candy thermometer and continue to boil, without stirring, until the temperature reaches 238º F, or the soft-ball stage. (This takes between 30-45 minutes.).
  • Remove the pan from the heat and add butter, without stirring. When the fudge has cooled to 110º F, add the walnuts and beat vigorously with a wooden spoon until the mixture begins to lose its gloss and hold its shape.
  • Turn the fudge into the prepared pan and allow it to cool for several hours. When the surface is firm to the touch, cut the fudge into 16 squares.
