SALTED RIM (OPTIONAL):
1/2 teaspoon each coarse salt, celery salt, ground cumin, granulated garlic, paprika and ground mustard
3 tablespoons dill pickle juice
BLOODY MARY:
1-1/2 cups Clamato juice, chilled
1/4 cup vodka
2 tablespoons dill pickle juice
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon celery salt
1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/8 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
Ice cubes
2 celery ribs
2 pepperoni-flavored meat snack sticks
2 dill pickle spears
2 each pitted ripe and green olives

Steps:

  • If desired, to make salted rim, combine spices in a shallow dish. Add 3 Tbsp. pickle juice to another shallow dish. Dip rims of glasses into pickle juice, allowing excess to drip off. Dip in salt mixture, pressing lightly. Tap to remove excess., In a small pitcher, combine the Clamato juice, vodka, pickle juice, Worcestershire sauce, celery salt, pepper and hot pepper sauce. Pour into glasses filled with ice; garnish with remaining ingredients.

1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
2 cups vodka
OPTIONAL GARNISHES:
Celery ribs, pickle spears, green and ripe olives, cucumber slices, pickled mushrooms, cubed cheese, beef sticks, cherry tomatoes, cocktail shrimp

Steps:

  • In a pitcher, stir together the first 8 ingredients. For each serving, pour about 1 cup over ice with 1/4 cup vodka; add optional garnishes as desired.

1 tablespoon olive oil
1 large onion, chopped
1 medium green pepper, chopped
5 garlic cloves, chopped
3 cans (14-1/2 ounces each) stewed tomatoes, chopped
1 bottle (33.8 ounces) spicy Bloody Mary mix
1 carton (32 ounces) chicken broth
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
1/2 teaspoon coarsely ground pepper
6 ounces fresh baby spinach (about 7-1/2 cups)
Additional Worcestershire and hot pepper sauce
Pimiento-stuffed olives, optional

Steps:

  • In a Dutch oven, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add onion and pepper; cook and stir until vegetables are tender, 8-10 minutes. Add garlic; cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Stir in tomatoes; cook 2 minutes., Add next six ingredients; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, covered, 10 minutes., Stir in spinach; cook until it wilts, about 5 minutes. Soup will be chunky. Serve immediately with additional Worcestershire and hot pepper sauce. If desired, add olives to resemble eyes.

2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
Sliced cooked bratwurst links, cheese curds and small dill pickles

Steps:

  • Using lemon wedges, moisten the rims of six highball glasses. Sprinkle salt and pepper on a plate; dip rims in mixture.
