TUXEDO CHICKEN
Thsi is from the "Desperation Dinners" cookbook. Don't ask me why the name - possibly because of the bowties? Well, in that case, it shold be called "Men's Formal Wear Accessory Chicken." Anyway, it's easy to put together and the sauce is very tasty.

Steps:
- Add bowties to a pot of boiling water and cook until tender - about ten minutes - and drain.
- Meanwhile, melt the butter in a large nonstick skillet.
- Add the chopped onion and cook till the onion is soft, about 3 minutes.
- Slice the chicken into 1/2 inch strips.
- Raise the heat to medium high and add chicken to onions,and cook until the chicken is no longer pink, stirring often.
- Meanwhile, place the broccoli in a microwave-safe dish and microwave 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 minutes,covered, on high until it is just warm.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet with a slotted spoon and set aside.
- Reduce the heat to medium-low.
- Stir the sour cream and half-and-half into the chicken juices to blend well, then add the mustard, Worcestershire,and garlic powder. Stir well and continue to cook until the sauce is slightly thickened, about 2 minutes. Do not boil.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and add the broccoli, then raise the heat to medium-high and bring the sauce almost to a boil.Reduce the heat to low and simmer to blend the flavors, 1 to 2 minutes.Do not boil.
- Place a serving of bowties on a plate. Top with the chicken mixture and enjoy.

TUXEDO TURKEY
This takes advantage of that extra store bought pie crust left over from making a pumpkin pie with a bottom crust only. Besides its cute. Black food coloring can be found in stores that sell cake decorating supplies.

Steps:
- Cook turkey as desired.
- Preheat oven to 425.
- If needed roll pie crust on floured surface to obtain a 12 inch cirle. Cut a small wedge out of the "top" of the pie crust. Cut this wedge in half to make two smaller wedges. These two wedges form the bow tie.
- Along the sides trim the edges about an inch deep along the bottom third of the crust. From this trimming you should make one rectangle and two circles. The circles are the buttons and rectangle mark the bottom line of the cummerbund.
- See the diagram for clarifications.
- Carefully place the large piece of crust on the turkey. It actually fits better if you put the "neck" of the tuxedo between the legs of the turkey. While it is "upside down" it looks better this way. You may need to trim the crust a bit to fit.
- Place the smaller pieces on the turkey as shown in the second diagram. Moisten the back of the pieces with water before applying them and press lightly so they stick.
- Combine egg yolk and water and divide between two small bowls. Add red food coloring to one and black to the other.
- Using a small pastry brush paint the bowtie pieces red and the buttons and trim black. Careful paint the edges of the large piece black also.
- Bake 15 to 17 minutes or until pie crust is golden.

Steps:
- Heat oven to 350°F.
- Prepare cake batter and bake as directed on package for 2 (9-inch) round cake layers, blending dry pudding mix and milk into batter before pouring into prepared pans. (Batter will be thick.) Cool cakes 10 min.; remove from pans to wire racks. Cool completely.
- Meanwhile, beat cream cheese, butter and vanilla in large bowl with mixer until blended. Gradually beat in sugar. Make chocolate curls from 1 oz. each semi-sweet and white chocolates (see tip); refrigerate until ready to use.
- Cut each cake layer horizontally in half. Stack on plate, spreading 3/4 cup cream cheese frosting between each layer. Spread remaining frosting onto top and side of cake.
- Microwave COOL WHIP and remaining semi-sweet chocolate in microwaveable bowl on HIGH 1-1/2 min., stirring after 1 min.; stir until chocolate is completely melted and mixture is well blended. Cool 5 min. Pour over cake, letting excess drip down side. Garnish with chocolate curls. Keep refrigerated.
