EASY FREEZER JAM
Steps:
- Prepare your jars by washing the jars and lids in hot water and drying them thoroughly.
- Combine the crushed berries in a medium mixing bowl. I used 1 cup blackberries, 1 cup raspberries, and 2 cups strawberries.
- In a separate larger bowl, whisk together the sugar and pectin. I like to use a large batter bowl so I can just pour the jam into my jars directly from it.
- Add the berry mixture to the sugar and pectin and stir for three minutes, ensuring they are mixed well.
- Ladle or pour the jam into into the jars, leaving about 1/2-inch of headspace at the top of each jar. Ball Freezer Jars have fill lines embossed on them to make it simple to gauge.
- Place the lids on the jars and let them stand for 30 minutes before freezing to allow the jam to thicken.
MIXED BERRY FREEZER JAM
Homemade jam has never been simpler! Mash your favorite in-season berries until almost smooth, then stir in sugar, pectin and a touch of lemon juice--no cooking involved. Store in your freezer and enjoy deliciously sweet jam all year long.

Steps:
- Stir together the sugar, pectin and salt in a small bowl until combined. Mash the berries in a separate large bowl with a fork or potato masher until evenly and finely crushed; stir in the lemon juice.
- Add the sugar mixture to the berry mixture and stir until well combined and the sugar has fully dissolved, about 2 minutes (this will also help the pectin bloom). Ladle into a glass mason jar or other freezer-safe container and set aside at room temperature for 30 minutes to set. Cover and store in the freezer for up to 1 year.

TRI-BERRY JAM
My mother-in-law and I dreamed up this jam after we'd been picking blueberries one day. She wondered if blueberries, raspberries and strawberries would taste good together. So she made a test batch-and we quickly learned that they definitely did! Then I came up with my own version of the jam. I preserve everything from our garden! -Karen Maerkle, Baltic, Connecticut

TRIPLE BERRY FREEZER JAM
Steps:
- Wash and dry the fruit.
- Add the blackberries and raspberries to a blender or food processor and puree until smooth.
- Pour the pureed berries into a mesh strainer situated over a large bowl and strain the puree to remove the seeds (if you want to keep the seeds, simply pour the puree into the bowl instead).
- Cut the stems off the strawberries, then add them to the food processor or blender and puree until smooth.
- Pour the strawberries into the bowl with the other pureed berries. This should be about 3 cups of pureed berries total.
- Add the sugar and mix well. Allow the sugar and pureed berries to sit on the counter for 10 to 20 minutes to allow the flavors to come together. Stir occasionally.
- After 10 to 20 minutes, combine the Sure-Jell and water in a medium saucepan set on medium-high heat. Allow to come to a boil (this may take a few minutes.)
- Once the mixture comes to a boil, allow to boil for one minute, stirring frequently.
- Pour the Sure-Jell mixture into the bowl with the berries and sugar.
- Stir the contents of the bowl for 3 minutes (I like to set a timer).
- After three minutes of stirring, use a ladle or measuring cup to pour the jam into the prepared jars, leaving about a quarter-inch of space at the top for expansion in the freezer.
- Secure the lids on the jars and allow the jam to sit at room temperature for 24 hours.
- Place the jam in the freezer for future use, or in the fridge for immediate use.
