SKILLET CHICKEN TORTELLINI ALFREDO

Skillet Chicken Tortellini Alfredo image

Categories     Meat and Poultry Recipes     Pork     Sausage

Time 35m

Yield 6

Number Of Ingredients 8

2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 (8 ounce) package baby portobello mushrooms, sliced
1 cup dry white wine (such as Pinot Grigio), divided
3 cloves garlic, minced, divided
10 ounces mild Italian sausage, casings removed
1 (16 ounce) package three-cheese tortellini
14 ½ ounces Alfredo basil sauce
1 (5 ounce) package baby spinach leaves

Steps:

Remove excess grease by placing paper towels onto a plate and dumping browned sausage onto it to drain. Return sausage to the skillet.
  • Return cooked mushrooms back to the skillet with sausage and add tortellini, Alfredo basil sauce, remaining 1/2 cup white wine, and remaining garlic. Reduce heat to medium-low. Cover and cook, stirring occasionally, for about 10 minutes. Add spinach; cover and cook until spinach is wilted, 3 to 4 minutes more. Mix well to combine. Remove from heat and serve.

TORTELLINI ALFREDO WITH ITALIAN SAUSAGE

Tortellini Alfredo with Italian Sausage image

Editor's Note: "Pasta makes such a great weeknight dinner, and this Instant Pot tortellini Alfredo is one of our new favorites. Cheese tortellini is a crowd pleaser in general, and in this dish it gets dressed up a bit with Italian chicken sausage, an unbeatably good cream sauce, and plenty of fresh spinach. This dinner not only tastes amazing, it also looks great when served up on a plate. This is one dish that you can serve when you want to impress, and it's also perfect for a casual weeknight. In other words, the perfect time to make this dish is just 'soon.'"

SAUSAGE TORTELLINI ALFREDO

Sausage Tortellini Alfredo image

A wonderful combination of rich alfredo sauce and three cheese tortellini -with veggies and Italian sausage to make matters worse (or better!). This is not for the faint of heart for calories, but that's why they invented the "just a garden salad for me" lunch! :) This recipe looks fancy enough for company but uses pre-made sauces and pasta for convenience. I have used Buitoni refrigerated pasta and sauce as well as those listed in the recipe. Using homemade versions could only make it tastier!
