2 pounds ground beef
2 pounds process cheese Velveeta, cubed
1 can (14-1/2 ounces) stewed tomatoes, cut up
2 cans (4 ounces each) chopped green chiles
3 teaspoons chili powder
3 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
Tortilla chips

Steps:

  • In a Dutch oven, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink; drain. Add the cheese, tomatoes, chiles, chili powder and Worcestershire sauce. , Cook, uncovered, for 15 minutes or until cheese is melted, stirring occasionally. Serve warm, with chips.

1 cup cream cheese
1 cup sour cream
1.5 cups salsa (* I use 1 jar of Pace Chunky Salsa- Medium (428 ml))
2 bunches green onions, chopped (*about 1 and 2/3 cups)
2 cup sharp cheddar cheese (*FINELY grated - make sure you use the smaller grating side on the grater)

Steps:

  • Beat cream cheese and sour cream together until smooth and spread evenly in bottom of 9X13 baking dish (preferably glass).
  • Spread salsa evenly over sour cream cream cheese layer.
  • Sprinkle on green onions, spreading evenly.
  • Top with grated cheese, spreading evenly over green onion (be sure to grate cheese on smaller grating/shredding)

Making tomato salsa is as easy as making salad. Just mix chopped tomato, onion, herbs and spices and voila! tomato salsa dip is ready to make your nachos and tortillas yummy. Learn how to make a tangy and delicious traditional salsa dip at home with this easy recipe.

Number Of Ingredients 9

2 medium Red Ripe Tomatoes, chopped (approx. 1/2 lb, 200 gms)
1/4 cup chopped Fresh Cilantro (Coriander Leaves)
1/4 cup diced Onion (Purple Onion or White Onion)
1 Serrano Chile or Jalapeño or Green Chilli, chopped (or to taste)
1 clove of Garlic
1/4 teaspoon Ground Cumin (Cumin Seeds Powder)
A pinch of Sugar, optional
Salt to taste
1 tablespoon Fresh Lime Juice

Steps:

  • Cut tomatoes into halves and remove the stem. If you like thick salsa, remove the seeds and juice from halved tomatoes and then cut them into big pieces. Use removed juice and seeds to make smoothie or other drinks. Chop onion and cilantro. Remove the seeds and stems from serrano chile and cut it into 4 pieces. Finely chop the garlic clove.
  • Add diced onion, garlic and serrano chile in the jar of a food processor or in the chopping bowl of a blender.
  • Add diced tomato and cilantro.
  • Add ground cumin, a pinch of sugar, and salt. Pour lime juice over it.
  • Process them until medium chunky texture. You can blend them according to the choice of salsa you want to make - mild chunky or medium chunky.
  • Tomato salsa is ready.
  • Transfer it to a container and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to enhance the flavor.

3 medium Red tomatoes (ripe and juicy)
1 medium Onion
5 - 6 Garlic Cloves
2 tbsp Fresh coriander leaves (roughly chopped)
2 Dried red chillies (I am using Kashmiri dried red chillies)
5 - 6 Jalapeño slices
1 tsp Roasted cumin seeds (You can use roasted cumin powder as well)
2 tbsp Lemon juice
1 - 2 tbsp extra virgin Olive oil
Salt per taste

Steps:

  • Firstly, heat a tawa or griddle on medium-high flame for roasting. Alternatively, you can roast in an oven as well.
  • Place 3 tomatoes, 6 garlic cloves and 1 small onion on the tawa and roast on medium flame.
  • Flip all the ingredients when roasted from 1 side and let it roast from other sides as well.
  • Remove the onions and cloves of garlic from the tawa and continue to roast tomatoes.
  • Roast tomatoes till it gets charred spots on all sides and turn off the flame. Let it cool down to room temperature.
  • Now, transfer the roasted tomatoes, garlic and onion into the blender.
  • Furthermore, add coriander leaves, jalapeño, roasted cumin seeds and dried red chillies.
  • Add Lemon juice, olive oil and salt into the blender and blend it coarsely without adding any water.
  • Finally, enjoy the delicious roasted tomato salsa recipe with Nachos and Doritos Chips.

1 small head iceberg lettuce, shredded

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine the refried beans, chilies, 1 teaspoon chili powder and 1 teaspoon cumin. Spread over a 14-in. platter. In another bowl, mash the avocados; add 1/4 cup onion, lemon juice, sugar, celery salt and cayenne. Spread over the bean layer., Combine 1 cup salsa, sour cream, mayonnaise, paprika, garlic powder, pepper sauce, oregano and remaining onion, cumin and chili powder.   • Combine together softened cream cheese and sour cream in a blender (or with hand mixer).
  • Add in Taco Seasoning and mix well.
  • Smooth into flat pie dish.
  • Add lettuce, tomatoes, cheese as preferred.

1 (250 g) package cream cheese, softened
125 ml (1/2 cup) sour cream
50 ml (1/4 cup) Miracle Whip
1 jar of your favourite salsa
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (i do not always use both,sometimes just cheddar)
1 green pepper, chopped
3 green onions, chopped
1 tomatoes, diced

Steps:

  • Blend first three ingredients together.
  • Spread over 12 inch pizza pan or other large plate or platter.
  • Chill for one hour (if you have time, if not don't worry about it).
  • Add salsa sauce over top.
  • Alternate cheese,green peppers, onions, tomatoes.
  • Cover& chill.
  • Serve with Nacho chips for dipping.
  • Regular or bite sized.
  • Very addictive!
