This is a great vinegar weed killer recipe. We have pets, all our neighbors have pets, the whole darn town (such as it is) has pets, which brings me to the point that I prefer not to use crazy chemicals to kill weeds. Not to mention this is much cheaper than the chemicals.

Ingredients

- white vinegar, full strength (undiluted)

Steps:

Simply fill a spray bottle with white vinegar, and spray generously on all parts of the weed ~ leaves and root area.
Don't dillute ~ use full-strength vinegar, and spray earlier in the day when the weeds are in full sun. {the hotter the day, the better!} The combination of the vinegar, heat, and sunshine will make those stinky weeds shrivel up!
Be careful to spray only on the weeds you want to kill, and keep away from your grass and plants that you want to live!

Very Hot Stuff. Put the kettle on and boil some water, then take it outside (or fill a flask). Gently pour over the crown of pesky plants to scorch them in matter of days.
Reliable Rubout. Dilute two tablespoons of rubbing alcohol in a bowl with four cups of water. Transfer the solution to a spray bottle and liberally coat the leaves of weeds in flower or vegetable plots, preferably on a sunny day.
