Thanksgiving Turkey Mash image

if you get a hankering for that Thanksgiving/poultry seasoning stuffing taste during the year, you can buy ground turkey and make this quick stir fry. serve with cranberry sauce, with orange pieces and orange zest added for a zippier taste.

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 lb ground turkey
2 Granny Smith apples, cored and diced
2 tablespoons spikito greek olive oil
2 -3 stalks celery, diced and with chopped leaves
2 cups toasted bread cubes, to taste if desired
1 large onion, peeled and chopped fine
1 teaspoon poultry seasoning (to taste)
1/2 teaspoon salt & freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Steps:

  • Place 2 TBS olive oil in large heavy pot and heat over a medium heat. Add celery and onion and cook 2 minutes. Add ground turkey and diced apples. Add poultry seasoning and mix well.
  • taste and adjust poultry seasoning, salt and pepper to taste. Add bread cubes at the last minute, if desired.
