2 cups pineapple, (finely diced (approximately 1/2 medium))
1 cup diced red onion ((approximately 1/2 medium))
1 - 2 jalapeño or serrano peppers, (seeded and finely diced (or to taste))
1/4 cup cilantro, (coarsely chopped)
2 tablespoons fresh-squeezed lime juice ((approximately 1 lime))
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt, (or to taste)
Ground black pepper to taste

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine the pineapple, onion, jalapeño, cilantro, lime juice, salt and pepper.
  • Taste and adjust the seasonings if desired.
  • Pineapple salsa can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 1 week, covered, though the flavors and textures are best within 3-4 days.

1 Pineapple , peeled and cut into slices
1/4 cup White onion , finely chopped
1/4 cup Red Yellow and Green Bell Peppers (Capsicum) , mixed, chopped
2 tablespoons Pickled Jalapenos , finely chopped
2 sprig Coriander (Dhania) Leaves , finely chopped
2 sprig Mint Leaves (Pudina) , roughly torn
Salt
1/2 teaspoon Lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon Paprika powder

Steps:

  • To begin making the Spicy Grilled Pineapple Salsa Recipe, start by prepping all the ingredients and fine chopping the elements.
  • Heat oil in a grill pan over medium heat; place the sliced pineapple and sprinkle with salt. Cover the pan and cook the pineapple until it's soft and has lightly grilled texture. Keep turning it around until golden brown on both sides.
  • Once done, allow it to cool and finely chop the pineapple.

1 Whole Fresh Pineapple
1 Cup Red and/or Orange Pepper, diced
1/2 Cup Red Onion, diced
1 Cup Roma Tomatoes, diced
1/4 Cup Cilantro, chopped
1-2 Jalapenos, cored, seeded and diced
1 Lime, juice of
Salt & Pepper

Steps:

  • To make the pineapple bowl, if desired, cut the pineapple in half just above the stem so that the stem remains attached to the larger half of the pineapple.
  • Cut around the edge of the pineapple, leaving about a half inch of flesh on the fruit.
  • Cut down the middle of the pineapple and cut the pineapple into sections and scoop out with a spoon.
  • Drain the pineapple of any extra juice. Set aside.
  • Dice pineapple into small pieces for the salsa then combine in a medium bowl with sweet pepper, onion, tomatoes, cilantro, jalapenos, lime juice, salt and pepper.
  • Spoon the salsa into the pineapple bowl to serve.
  • Enjoy.
