SWEET AND SPICY BACON WRAPPED CHICKEN
Tender and Juicy Chicken that is wrapped in bacon and coated in a blend of spices. It bakes in brown sugar which caramelizes when it cooks. You are going to love the sweet and spicy flavor!

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Combine chili powder, paprika, and garlic powder in a bowl. Roll each chicken piece into the spices and wrap in bacon. Place in a 10 inch skillet or a 9x13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle the tops with brown sugar.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until chicken reads 165 degrees and is no longer pink. I like to broil the tops of my chicken for 1-2 minutes to crisp the bacon at the end.

- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Cut each chicken breast into thirds, leaving you with 12 pieces.
- Lay chicken pieces in a 9x13 baking dish, coat with 2 Tablespoons of Olive Oil. (can use non-stick cooking spray also) Sprinkle chicken with spices, flip over and sprinkle the other side.
- Wrap each piece of chicken with a slice of bacon. Roll in brown sugar.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and bacon is nice and crispy.
- Drizzle with glaze it made and serve.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Slice chicken into bite-sized pieces.
- Cut bacon into 1 to 1-1/2 inch pieces.
- Wrap a piece of bacon around each chicken piece. Use toothpicks if necessary.
- Combine the brown sugar and cayenne in a small bowl.
- Roll each piece of chicken and bacon in the brown sugar/cayenne mixture.
- Place on a cookie sheet keeping the pieces from touching.
- Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.

- Preheat oven to 350°. Cut bacon strips crosswise into thirds. In a large skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until partially cooked but not crisp. Remove to paper towels to drain; keep warm., Wrap a bacon piece around each chicken piece; secure with a toothpick. In a shallow bowl, mix brown sugar and seasonings. Add wrapped chicken, a few pieces at a time, and toss to coat., Place on 15x10x1-in. baking pans. Bake 10-12 minutes or until bacon is crisp and chicken is no longer pink. Place into an ovenproof dish greased with the olive oil. Bake at 400°F for 30 to 40 minutes or until chicken is cooked through and bacon is brown and crispy. Delicious served with mashed potatoes with some of the gravy from the chicken drizzled on top.

Hey you Paula Deen fans, she has a new magazine, "Cooking with Paula Deen"--this recipe is from the premier issue. It was so yummy looking, I couldn't wait to try it. I added another 15 minutes to the cooking time suggested (30-35 minutes) and It was just right, but oven temperatures vary, so check on it during the last few minutes of cooking time. I'm also going to add a few dashes of cayenne pepper next time for something hot and sweet!
