Steps:
- combine ham and cheese
- On a flat surface, sprinkle with flour and pop the canned crescent, press together to form a ball, roll out on flour, till round and thinned out.
- spray a cookie sheet with oil, preheat oven to 350
- fill the dough with the mix and spread out like a loaf, gently fold up, then the two sides and once again..like a burrito...gently place on cookie seam side down, make a few slits to release stem
- brush top with egg wash and bake for about 15 mins or until golden brown...serve with marinara sauce for dipping
SAVORY GRUYèRE BREAD WITH HAM

- Heat the oven to 350ºF. Butter and flour a metal 9 × 5-inch loaf pan and set it aside.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and baking soda. Stir in the chopped ham, scallions if using, thyme, and 1¾ cups (7 ounces) of the Gruyère (reserving the rest for topping). In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter, eggs, and buttermilk. Add the wet mixture to the flour mixture and stir to combine. The batter will be thick.
- Transfer the batter to the prepared loaf pan and spread it out evenly, smoothing the top. Sprinkle the remaining ¼ cup (1 ounce) cheese over the top. Bake until the top springs back when lightly pressed and a skewer inserted in the center comes out with some moist crumbs attached, 45 to 55 minutes.
- Transfer the pan to a wire rack and let it cool for 10 minutes. Then remove the bread from the pan and let it cool completely on the wire rack.
SWEET AND SAVORY MEATLOAF WITH SWEET AND TANGY GLAZE
Mix chopped spinach, mushroom and prunes with ground meat and bake up a loaf coated with an apricot-ginger glaze.

- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Combine the meatloaf mix, breadcrumbs, spinach, mushrooms, prunes, dill, parsley, Worcestershire, eggs, garlic, onion, 1/4 cup of the ketchup, 1 1/2 teaspoons salt and 1/2 teaspoon pepper in a large mixing bowl. Using your hands, mix together until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking sheet and form it into a compact oval-shaped loaf, about 9 inches by 5 inches. Bake the meatloaf for 30 minutes.
- Stir together the apricot preserves, soy sauce, ginger, vinegar and remaining 1/4 cup ketchup in a small bowl for the glaze. Remove the meatloaf from the oven and brush the top and sides all over with the glaze. Return to the oven and bake until the glaze starts to caramelize and a thermometer inserted in the center of the meatloaf registers 160 degrees F, about 25 minutes more. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
HAM LOAF I
This was a favorite recipe of our Mom's for Sunday dinner. We all loved it, and I'm sure you will too. Ground ham is formed into a meatloaf and baked in the oven.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- In a large bowl, combine the ham, pork, eggs, bread crumbs, evaporated milk, salt and ground black pepper. Mix all together well and form into a loaf. Place loaf into a lightly greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 90 minutes.
- While the loaf is baking, combine the brown sugar, mustard powder and vinegar. Mix well and pour over the loaf in the final 15 minutes of baking.

OOOH LA LA! FRENCH SAVOURY HAM, CHEESE AND OLIVE CAKE
Another one of my savoury "cake" recipes from France. This recipe is slightly more substantial than my Recipe #316039, as this recipe contains ham with white wine and port! Serve this as alternative sandwich bread or as a light snack spread with cream cheese or butter. This cake recipe will also make fantastic little appetisers if the loaf is cut into small cubes and served with olives, cubes of cheese and savoury spreads. Please note that the texture of this savoury cake is NOT like a sweet dessert cake - it will be slightly holey with a robust and slightly chewy texture, almost like sourdough.

- Heat oven to 200C or 400°F.
- In a bowl beat the eggs until pale yellow and frothy.
- Stir in flour, baking powder, olive oil, melted butter, wine and port.
- Chop the ham, cube the cheese and slice the olives.
- Stir in ham, cheese, olives, salt and pepper to taste.
- Pour into greased bread tin, loaf tin or cake pan (11 X 4 inches would be a good size).
- Bake for about 50 minutes, or until well risen and golden brown.
- Serve cold in slices or as sandwich bread.

- In a bowl combine the first 5 ingredients. Crumble ham and turkey over mixture and mix together well.
- Press into greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan. Bake uncovered at 375°F for 50 to 55 minutes or until meat thermometer reads 160°F.
- In a saucepan combine sauce ingredients; cook and stir over medium heat for 5 minutes or until heated through. Serve with ham loaf.

- In a large bowl, combine the cracker crumbs, Parmesan cheese and butter. Set aside 1/4 cup for topping. Press remaining crumb mixture onto the bottom and 2 in. up the sides of a greased 9-in. springform pan. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes., In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add eggs; beat on low speed just until combined (mixture will be thick). Carefully run a knife around edge of pan to loosen; cool 1 hour longer. Refrigerate overnight. Remove sides of pan. Serve chilled or at room temperature with crackers.
