Sweet N Spicy Snack Mix Food

SWEET AND SPICY SNACK MIX

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 250°F.Combine the cereal, pretzels, bagel chips, peanuts, almonds and cashews on a large sheet pan.In a small saucepan set over medium heat, add butter, worcestershire sauce, honey or maple syrup, hot sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.Heat until butter is melted and mixture is smooth.Pour over the cereal mixture and stir to make sure everything is coated evenly.Bake in the oven for about an hour and a half until snack mix is golden and crisp, stirring every 20 minutes or so. Let cool completely. Store in an airtight container for up to several weeks.

SPICY SNACK MIX

Steps:

• Preheat the oven to 250 degrees F (120 degrees C).
• Place butter in a 2-cup glass measuring cup. Microwave on high, checking at 15-second intervals, until melted, about 1 minute. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, chile-garlic sauce, garlic powder, seasoned salt, and onion powder until well mixed.
• Combine rice, corn, and wheat cereals in a large bowl. Transfer 2 to 3 cups cereal mixture to a separate bowl and pour about 1 ounce of butter mixture over top; mix with your hands until completely coated. Transfer cereal to a metal baking sheet, spreading into an even layer. Continue coating small amounts of cereal mixture with butter mixture and layering evenly on the baking sheet, using another sheet if needed; if too much is on the sheet, it doesn't get crispy.
• Coat pretzels with the remaining butter mixture and add to the baking sheets.
• Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes. Stir cereal mixture and redistribute in an even layer. Return to the oven and continue to cook, stirring and redistributing every 15 minutes, until crispy and golden, another 30 to 45 minutes. Sprinkle sugar lightly over cereal mixture during the last 15 minutes; do not add it too early or it will burn.

SWEET, SPICY AND SALTY CANDIED NUT MIX

Steps:

• Melt the butter and sugar in a large skillet over medium heat and add the salt. Add the almonds, cashews, peanuts, pecans, chili powder, cinnamon, cumin and cayenne. Cook until the sugar is melted and the nuts are fragrant, 5 to 6 minutes. Add the rosemary and toss. Immediately spread the nut mixture on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Cool completely, and then serve.

SPICY SNACK MIX

Steps:

• In a small saucepan, melt butter. Add the seasoned salt, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder and pepper sauce; set aside. , In a large bowl, combine cereal and nuts. Drizzle with butter mixture; toss to coat. , Spread into two 15x10x1-in. baking pans. Bake at 250° for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Store in airtight containers.

SWEET 'N' SPICY SNACK MIX

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 250°. In a large bowl, combine pretzels, crackers and cereal. In a small bowl, combine butter, soy sauce, chili powder and barbecue seasoning; pour over cereal mixture and toss to coat., Transfer to a 15x10x1-in. baking pan coated with cooking spray. Bake 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes. Stir in Corn Pops. Store in airtight containers.

SWEET & SPICY SNACK MIX

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spread almonds and pecans out onto a rimmed baking sheet. Bake until nuts are warm and fragrant, about 10 minutes. Meanwhile, in the bottom of a large bowl whisk together melted butter, brown sugar, maple syrup, cinnamon, cayenne pepper, cardamom and salt. Add warm nuts, pretzels and oyster crackers. Stir gently until all nuts, pretzels and crackers are evenly coated.Spread nut mixture evenly onto rimmed baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, stirring once halfway through baking time. Remove from oven and let cool completely. Store mix in an air tight container for up to 5 days.

SWEET-AND-SPICY PARTY MIX

Steps:

• Heat oven to 350°F.
• Combine cereal, pretzels and nuts in large bowl.
• Mix dressing, Sriracha sauce and paprika until blended. Add to cereal mixture; toss until cereal mixture is evenly coated with dressing mixture.
• Add sesame seed; mix lightly.
• Spread onto foil-covered rimmed baking sheet sprayed with cooking spray.
• Bake 25 to 30 min. or until lightly browned, stirring after 15 min. Cool completely.
