Steps:
- Chop the dill pickle and onion then set the pieces on a paper towel to dry.
- Prepare a small amount of ground hamburger and dice it up to small pieces.
- Cook bacon and cut it up in to small pieces as well. I usually plan for this meal ahead of time and brown the ground beef a day earlier with a different meal. I save bacon from breakfast and it allows me less cooking when I make this pizza.
- Follow the directions on the tube of raw pizza dough as far as the prep of the dough.
- Once the dough is ready to topped apply a thin layer of mustard all over the dough except for the edges.
- Sprinkle your bacon over the entire pizza followed by the onions and then the hamburger.
- Cover the pizza with cheese and sprinkle a few pickles on the top.
- Bake at the time a temperature as instructed on the pizza dough tube. It tastes great!
- It sounds weird because you may not have ever put pickles or mustard on your pizza but it tastes just like a bacon cheeseburger. It's something different and I enjoy it a lot.

BACON DOUBLE-CHEESEBURGER PIZZA
When a Steven and Chris viewer challenged me to create a healthy pizza, I wanted to make one that tasted like junk food but was actually good for you. Lots of pizza joints have bacon double-cheeseburger pizza, so that was the perfect choice! I cut some of the fat in the beef by swapping half of it for cremini mushrooms and using my mom's burger-enhancing secret ingredient, Worcestershire sauce, along with steak spice to amp up the beefy goodness. The Greek yogurt-mustard sauce brings the whole dish together. The result? The S&C crew gobbling it up faster than I've ever seen, and everyone exclaiming that it tasted like a fast-food burger, but better! Mission accomplished.

Steps:
- Position rack in bottom third of oven and preheat oven to 500 degrees F.
- In a food processor, finely chop mushrooms, yellow onion and garlic.
- Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add beef and steak spice and cook, stirring and breaking up meat with a wooden spoon, for 8 minutes or until meat is no longer pink and no liquid remains in bottom of pan. Add mushroom mixture and cook, stirring frequently, until mixture is fragrant and liquid is evaporated. Transfer to a large bowl. Stir in Worcestershire sauce and season with salt and pepper.
- Line a large (about 11- 16-inch) baking sheet with parchment paper, mist with cooking spray and sprinkle with cornmeal. Stretch dough to fit sheet.
- Mix tomato and BBQ sauces together and spread in an even layer onto pizza dough. In a bowl, combine the cheddar and mozzarella, then sprinkle half the cheese mixture overtop the sauces. Spread beef mixture over cheese. Top with remaining cheeses, red onion, tomatoes and bacon.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, until crust is golden and cheese is golden brown.
- While pizza is baking, combine yogurt and mustard. To serve, slice pizza, drizzle with yogurt sauce and top with shredded lettuce.
SUSIE'S BACON CHEESEBURGER PIZZA
This pizza has the perfect homemade crust as a base. It is thick and slightly chewy... just the right texture. Honestly, this does taste like a bacon cheeseburger in pizza form. The "sauce" is what you'd expect to taste on a cheeseburger. It's what makes this pizza a little different. We tried the dill pickles with the pizza and...

Steps:
- 1. To make the crust, add 1 tablespoon honey to one cup of warm water, add the yeast, and wait until foamy (about 5 to 10 min.).
- 2. Put about 2 cups of the flour and the salt in a medium bowl. Add the 2 tablespoons oil and the yeast mixture. Stir (or use a stand mixer with dough hook) to combine.
- 3. On a well-floured surface, knead the dough, adding small amounts of flour at a time until dough is smooth and elastic.
- 4. Set aside. *You do NOT have to let this rise like you do bread, however, it's good to let it "rest" for 5 to 10 min.
- 5. In a skillet, cook the ground beef & onion together until no longer pink and onion is soft. Drain fat, and set aside. Mix the ketchup and mustard together in a small bowl.
- 6. Brush vegetable (or olive) oil on a large pizza pan, or use a cookie sheet if you don't have a pizza pan.
- 7. Pat the dough onto the pizza pan and push towards the edges so that it's thick on the edges and thin in the middle.
- 8. With a fork, prick the entire bottom of the crust (except the edges) liberally.
- 9. Place the crust in a preheated oven (375 degrees) for about 12-14 minutes.
- 10. Remove from oven and brush butter or oil on the edge of crust.
- 11. Spread the ketchup mixture on the crust and spread with the back of a spoon.
- 12. Sprinkle on the beef/onion mixture.
- 13. Then sprinkle with mozzarella and cheddar cheeses. Add the crumbled bacon or bacon bits on top.
- 14. Put back in the oven for about 10 more minutes until crust is light brown, and cheese has melted.
- 15. *Note: I don't measure anything when I make this, so my measurements are approximate. I also usually cook a whole pound of hamburger and half of a large onion, and freeze what I don't use for a future pizza. Hey...it saves time! Also, if you like dill pickle on your hamburger, go ahead and add diced dill pickle on top when it comes out of the oven. I've tried it and like it. Experiment!! :)
