Steps:
- Add the chicken, skin side down to a dry, non-stick pan. The chicken will render out enough fat that you don't need to add any extra. Turn the heat on to medium and cook until the skin is brown and crispy, about 15-20 minutes, then flip.
- Meanwhile, make the sauce: in a small sauce pan, add the soy, mirin, sake, and sugar and bring to a gentle simmer. Whisk the cornstarch with 1 tablespoon water and whisk into the sauce. Bring to a simmer and let thicken slightly. Set aside.
- When the chicken skin is brown and crispy, flip and cook the other side for 5 minutes and check to make sure the chicken is cooked through. Rest on a cutting board for five minutes, then slice into strips and serve with teriyaki sauce with rice, cucumbers, green onions and toasted sesame seeds.

Steps:
- First, prepare homemade teriyaki chicken marinade by following this recipe. Reserve around 2 tablespoons of marinade to thicken for later.
- Next, place 1.5-lbs. of chicken breast into a gallon-size plastic bag or large stasher bag. Then, pour on teriyaki marinade and let sit in the fridge for 30-minutes to 2 hours.
- Preheat the grill to 425ºF and rub your grill grates with olive oil.
- Grill chicken breast at 425ºF for 7-10 minutes on each side or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 160ºF - 165ºF. If you've got leftover marinade, we suggest using a meat brush to brush on some teriyaki marinade a few times during the grilling process to really infuse the chicken with flavor.
- Remove chicken breast from grill and let rest for 5 minutes so that the chicken can continue cooking.
- To thicken the remaining teriyaki sauce, pour the sauce you set aside into a small saucepan and bring to a boil. whisk 1 teaspoon of cornstarch with 2 teaspoons of water to create a cornstarch slurry and then add it to the pat. Whisk the sauce until thickened.
- Serve grilled teriyaki chicken with the extra sauce and your favorite sides.

- Cut chicken into bite size pieces if desired. Place a wok, or pan, on the stove top and add ¼ cup Wish-Bone® Italian Dressing to it. Turn the heat to medium and bring the dressing to a bubble, then add the chicken. Cook just until the chicken warms up and starts to crisp on the edges. Toss in ¼ cup of Teriyaki Sauce. Cook while stirring until the chicken is coated completely. Scoop out and place in a large bowl.
- In the same wok, or pan, add another ¼ cup Wish-Bone® Italian Dressing, toss the veggies in the pan and cook for about 7 to 10 minutes, or until desired doneness. Remove and place in a clean bowl, off to one side of it.
- Pour the remaining ¼ cup of Teriyaki Sauce in the pan and cook for about 1 minute, just long enough to warm it up. Toss the chicken back in for 1 to 2 minutes, just long enough to warm it up. Scoop the chicken into the bowl you put the veggies in, off to the other side. Toss sesame seeds over top.
- Scoop the Teriyaki Chicken over warm prepared rice, if desired. You can substitute noodles or salad if you like. We love ours over rice, or plain.

- Making the Teriyaki Sauce: To make the Teriyaki Sauce, first make Cornstarch slurry by combining Cornstarch and Water in a bowl until combined and lump-free. Heat a skillet and add the Cornstarch slurry along with all the other sauce ingredients. Simmer over low heat until the sauce thickens. Take it out in a bowl and allow it to cool down.
- Toss the Chicken in the Teriyaki Sauce. Stir to combine or just take the sauce and the chicken in a zip-lock bag. Seal the top and shake vigorously until combined. Keep this in the refrigerator for 1 hour or overnight.
- To knead the Kabobs, start by soaking the skewers in warm water for 20 minutes. Then start with the Bell Peppers, followed by Red Onion and a Chicken Piece. Follow until you reach the tip of the skewer. Do not knead all the way up to the top. This will make it difficult to cook the kabobs. Keep about 1-inch space on the top.
- Heat some Olive Oil in a grill pan. Add the skewers and allow them to get charred over medium-high heat for 8-10 minutes. Turn after every 2 minutes. Baste with the remaining sauce towards the end.
