RASPBERRY VANILLA SMOOTHIE



Raspberry Vanilla Smoothie image

light and flavourful with just the right amount of creamy

Number Of Ingredients 4

1 cup prepared raspberry tea
1/2 cup vanilla flavoured yogurt
2 cups frozen raspberries
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Steps:

  • For each smoothies, place the ingredients (in the order listed) into the blender
  • Start on low and then gradually turn to high speed. Blend until smooth
  • Add more liquid (juice or yogurt) as needed to get a smooth blend.
  • Most of these smoothies are on the less sweet side. If it's not sweet enough for your liking, feel free to add a tablespoon of liquid sweetener such as frozen juice concentrate, honey, maple syrup or agave syrup.

I just gathered together my favorite fruits and added what else was needed. If you like, use a multigrain bar (I use Entenmann's strawberry flavored), crumble it, and sprinkle some on top of each smoothie.

1 banana
1 cup frozen strawberries
1 cup frozen blueberries
1 cup frozen cherries
4 ice cubes
½ cup orange juice
¾ cup vanilla yogurt
½ teaspoon honey

Steps:

  • Place the banana, strawberries, blueberries, cherries, and ice cubes into a blender. Pour in the orange juice, vanilla yogurt, and honey. Puree until smooth.

A delicious smoothie that is healthy and takes just minutes to make!

Yield Makes Glass

Number Of Ingredients 3

6 medium-sized strawberries (plus one extra to garnish)
A small handfull of raspberries (plus 4 extra to garnish)
350ml semi-skimmed milk

Steps:

  • Put the raspberries, strawberries and semi-skimmed milk in a wide jug.
  • Whisk them up using a hand blender until the mixture is smooth.
  • Pour into a large glass.
  • To garnish, place the extra raspberries on top of the mixture (which should be thick enough to hold the raspberries on the surface). Then slice the strawberry vertically from the bottom and slide it onto the side of the glass.
  • Add a straw and....ENJOY!
