Number Of Ingredients 6

3 cups all-purpose flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups grated cheese (, your choice, we like sharp cheddar)
1 1/2 cups milk
2 tablespoons melted butter or 2 tablespoons margarine

Steps:

  • Combine flour, baking powder, salt and cheese in large bowl.
  • Stir thoroughly.
  • Add milk and melted butter.
  • Stir to form soft dough.
  • Put in greased loaf pan 9 x 5 x 3 inch.
  • Bake in 400 degree oven for 35 to 40 minutes.
  • Remove from pan to cool.
  • Serve with butter.

1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 (16 ounce) can canned tomatoes
1 small onion, minced
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
1 ¼ teaspoons dried oregano
1 (8 ounce) package medium seashell pasta
1 (16 ounce) package cottage cheese
½ pound mozzarella cheese, shredded
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  • Combine the tomato sauce, canned tomatoes, minced onion, salt, pepper and oregano in a saucepan. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
  • Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta shells and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente. Drain and rinse with cool water.
  • Put a layer of cooked shells in a greased 3 quart casserole dish. After the shells, you put in the cottage cheese and spread it out to cover all the shells. Layer on the sauce, then another layer of shells, then the mozzarella cheese and more sauce. Add the last layer of shells, the parmesan, and finish with a layer of sauce.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes.

½ teaspoon salt
1 ½ cups shredded Cheddar cheese
1 ½ cups milk
2 tablespoons butter, melted

Steps:

  • Preheat an oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Grease a loaf pan.
  • Stir together flour, baking powder, salt, and cheese in a large bowl. Mix in milk and melted butter. Stir to form a soft dough. Spoon dough into prepared pan.
  • Bake in preheated oven, until a toothpick inserted in the center of the loaf comes out clean, about 34 to 40 minutes. Remove from pan to cool.

1 (1 lb) French bread, loaf
1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup chopped green onion, with tops
2 tablespoons butter, softened
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt

Steps:

  • Cut bread diagonally into 1-inch slices, cutting almost to bottom of loaf.
  • Mix remaining ingredients; spread between slices of bread.
  • Place bread on a 28x18-inch piece of heavy-duty foil; wrap securely.
  • Place on grill 5-6 inches from medium coals; cover and grill, turning once, about 8-10 minutes; unwrap foil and grill bread uncovered 5 minutes longer.

1.5 cups Shredded Zucchini, patted dry, Approx 1 small zucchini
2 cups Flour, AP
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
2 tsp Baking Powder
1 tbsp Garlic Powder
1/4 tsp Salt
1 cup Milk
1 tbsp White Vinegar, Mix with milk and let sit while you prep ingredients
1 Egg
1/4 cup Melted Butter
1.5 cups Grated Cheddar Cheese
3 tbsp Chopped Chives

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 F and grease 9x5" pan. Begin by adding vinegar to milk and allowing it to sit while you get the batter ready (this creates the "buttermilk" effect).
  • In a medium bowl combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, garlic powder and salt with a whisk to ensure ingredients are evenly distributed.
  • In stand mixer mix melted butter with egg and add in milk mixture, mix well.
  • Add dry ingredients to wet mixture and stir until JUST combined, do not overmix or your zucchini loaf will be flat and dense.
  • Add in zucchini, chives and cheese and use wooden spoon to gently fold into the batter.
  • Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 50-60 minutes., when toothpick inserted comes out clean it is done. Allow to cool before removing from pan.
