Packed full of strawberry flavour, this irresistible strawberry bliss ball recipe contains easy ingredients and can be ready to eat in less than 5 minutes! Containing chewy dates, berries and sunflower seeds, they are also free from nuts and refined sugars and don't contain any nasty ingredients. But your kids won't know this; they taste like strawberry cake balls!

1/4 cup freeze dried strawberries (45 grams. Or substitute for 1 cup frozen strawberries.)
4 strawberries (fresh or frozen)
1 1/2 cups rolled oats
2 cup desiccated coconut
1/4 cup sunflower seeds
10 medjool dates (pitted)
3 tbsp acai powder
1 tbsp maple syrup (optional)
additional coconut, for rolling

Steps:

  • Place the freeze dried strawberries and sunflower seeds into a food processor and blend until fine.
  • Place the remaining ingredients into the food processor and blitz on high speed until the mixture breaks down and sticks together.
  • Roll the mixture in your hands into bite sized balls. Roll in extra coconut and store in an airtight container in the fridge or freezer until required.

4 ingredient strawberry cheesecake bliss balls! Yummy, easy to make recipe that is kid friendly and freezer friendly!

250 grams cream cheese (cubed (I use philadelphia original from the block))
250 grams of strawberries (tops removed)
1 tablespoon lemon zest
2 cups coconut desiccated + 1/2 cup extra for rolling
optional: mykids loved these without sweetener

Steps:

  • Combine the cream cheese, strawberries, lemon zest and coconut in a food processor.
  • Blitz until the strawberries are chopped and through the cream cheese. It should be thick, not runny, imagine playdough consistency. Don't over process.
  • Roll teaspoonfuls into balls.
  • Roll the balls in the coconut.
  • Refrigerate.

Number Of Ingredients 6

75g cashews (1/2 cup), soaked for 3 hours
100g desiccated coconut (1 cup)
100g medjool dates (3/4 cup), about 6 dates, pitted
2 tbsp freeze dried strawberry powder
1 tbsp coconut oil
1/2 lemon, juice

Steps:

  • Soak the cashews for 3 hours in some water, rinse and drain well.
  • Place all of the ingredients into a food processor and blend until the mixture comes together.
  • Transfer the mixture into a bowl and roll into bite size balls using palm of your hands.
  • Roll the balls in some extra strawberry powder.
  • Transfer to an airtight container and place into a fridge for about an hour to firm up.
  • Store in a fridge for up to a week.
  • Enjoy!

  • Beat cream cheese at medium speed of mixer until fluffy.
  • Add melted chocolate,beating until smooth.
  • Stir in wafer crumbs and preserves,cover and chill 1 hour.
  • Shape mixture into 1 inch balls,roll in almonds or powdered sugar.
  • Store in airtight container in refrigerator.
