Steps:

  • Heat oil in large skillet on medium-high heat. Add vegetables; stir-fry 5 min.
  • Stir in water and soy sauce. Bring to boil.
  • Add rice and chicken; mix well. Cover; cook on low heat 5 min. or until rice is tender and chicken mixture is heated through.

My daughters are the princesses so the name was perfect. I liked the sauce it was easy, added ingredients I had on hand, this tasty dish...

3 lb boneless skinless chicken breast
6 mini orange peppers
1 bunch scallions
snow peas
2 c sliced mushroom
4 clove minced garlic
2 tsp grated ginger
canola oil
MARINATE
6 Tbsp soy sauce, low sodium
3 Tbsp cornstarch
9 tsp cabernet wine vinegar
SAUCE
1 c soy sauce, low sodium
1 tsp sesame oil
3 Tbsp sugar
2 Tbsp cabernet wine vinegar
1 tsp szechwan pepper

Steps:

  • 1. Cube the chicken,place in a large bowl , add the marinate ingredients, cover refrigerate for 30 mins
  • 2. Slice the peppers in match sticks, dice the scallion, slice the mushrooms
  • 3. Combine the sauce ingredients and set aside.
  • 4. Add about 2-3 tbs of canola oil to the wok, once hot add the chicken stir fry until cooked, remove the chicken from the wok and drain on a paper towel
  • 5. Add 1 -2 tbs of canola oil to the wok add minced garlic, minced ginger, until fragrant add the veggies stir fry till crisp. Make a well in the middle of the wok add the sauce.
  • 6. Bring sauce to boil add chicken back to wok, stir until everything is incorporated and heated through. Serve over rice

2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 tablespoon soy sauce
10 hot red peppers
1 tablespoon sake
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 cup oil
1 teaspoon szechuan peppercorns
1 teaspoon minced fresh ginger
1/2 cup chopped peanuts
4 cups rice

Steps:

  • Chop chicken into 1 inch pieces.
  • Combine 2 tablespoons cornstarch and 1 tablespoon soy sauce in medium bowl; add chicken, stir and let sit for 30 minutes.
  • Combine sake, soy sauce, sugar, salt, cornstarch and sesame oil; set aside.
  • Heat oil in wok.
  • Stir fry chicken 2 minutes until lightly browned.
  • Remove all but 2 teaspoons oil from wok.
  • Stir fry dried pepper and peppercorns briefly.
  • Add minced ginger and cooked chicken stir fry 1 minute.
  • Add seasoning sauce; stir until sauce thickens.
  • Stir in peanuts.
  • Serve over hot rice.

2 tablespoons dark sesame oil, divided
2 garlic cloves, finely minced
2 pounds chicken breasts, skinless and boneless
1 head broccoli, stems removed
1 dozen mushrooms, sliced
3 carrots, peeled and julienned
1/4 pound green beans, diced
1 head bok choy, chopped
2 to 3 tablespoons teriyaki sauce

Steps:

  • Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a saute pan over medium heat. Add garlic and stir. Place the chicken in the pan and brown 4 minutes on each side. Remove from pan, slice into strips, set aside.
  • Heat remaining tablespoon of oil in a wok over high heat. Add the vegetables and teriyaki sauce. Stir-fry quickly until the vegetables begin to soften. Add the chicken strips, combine well and continue to cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Serve immediately.

  • Place sesame seeds on a small baking sheet and bake in preheated oven for 5 to 6 minutes, or until golden brown; set aside. Meanwhile, heat peanut oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat until very hot. ½ cup oyster sauce

1 (8 ounce) can sliced water chestnuts, drained
