PEANUT BUTTER DOG TREATS

Steps:

• mix together flour,oatmeal, and peanut butter.
• add hot water to make firm dough. Use more water if dough is too dry.
• Knead dough on a floured surface. a counter works well.
• Roll dough with a rolling pin or flatten with your hands until it is about a 1/4 inch thick. Keep a little flour in case the rolling pin or your hands get sticky.
• cut dough with your favorite cookie cutter.
• grease a cookie sheet with cooking spray.
• place biscuits on cookie sheet.
• bake in 350 degree oven for 40 minutes
• let biscuits cool for an hour and put in the fridge.

PEANUT BUTTER DOG TREATS

Steps:

• Preheat the oven to 350 F.
• Combine flour, eggs, and peanut butter in a large bowl to make a thick crumbly dough. Add water, one tablespoon at a time, until you can form the dough into a large ball.
• On a clean floured surface, roll out the dough to about 1/4 inch thick. Use cookie cutters or a knife to cut into individual treats. Place the treats on a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes. Let cool before feeding!

PEANUT BUTTER DOG BONE TREATS

Steps:

• Place an oven rack in the center of the oven and preheat to 375 degrees F. Spray a heavy baking sheet with vegetable oil cooking spray or line with a silicon baking mat. Set aside.
• In a large bowl, combine the flour, oats and baking powder. Stir in the broth and peanut butter until the mixture forms a crumbly dough. Press the dough together to form a ball.
• On a lightly floured work surface, knead the dough for 30 seconds until smooth. Roll out the dough into a 10-inch circle, about 1/2-inch thick. Using a bone-shape cookie cutter, cut out bones and place on the prepared baking sheet (any scraps of dough can be formed into a ball and re-rolled). Sprinkle with the Parmesan.
• Bake until light golden, 20 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack and cool completely. Store in an airtight container for up to 1 week.

STEVE'S PEANUT BUTTER DOG TREATS

Steps:

• Pre-heat oven to 325 degrees.
• Line sheet pan with parchment paper.
• In electric mixer (w/dough hook), mix dry ingredients including peanut butter on low speed then add egg and 1 cup water until it forms a slightly sticky ball.
• Dump the dough onto a well floured board and knead into a ball. Roll the dough out 1/2 inch thick.
• OPTIONAL: Roll out dough into a sheet pan then cut to squares to the desired size with a pizza cutter. You can use a cookie cutter but that's a lot more work and the dog really won't care about the shape of the treat. Great gift idea, however.
• OPTIONAL: Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with oat meaL.
• Bake in 325 degree oven for one hour, until completely hard.
