SPRING CHICKS BROWNIES

Steps:

• Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pan). Line 9-inch square pan with foil, allowing some to hang over edges of pan. Spray bottom and sides of foil with cooking spray. Make brownie batter as directed on box; spread in pan.
• Bake 28 to 31 minutes or until toothpick inserted 2 inches from side of pan comes out almost clean. Cool completely, about 1 hour 30 minutes.
• Using foil to lift, remove brownies from pan, and carefully peel away foil. Transfer brownies to serving platter. In small bowl, mix frosting and food color to desired color. Transfer frosting to decorating bag fitted with grass piping tip; pipe onto brownies.
• Using photo as a guide, top with 5 PEEPS® chicks, spacing randomly across top. Add sprinkles and candies.
• To serve, cut brownies into 4 rows by 4 rows; add remaining PEEPS® chicks so each brownie has a chick. Store loosely covered at room temperature.

TRADITIONAL SPRING CELEBRATION BROWNIES

Steps:

• Heat oven to 350°F. Grease bottom only of 13x9-inch pan with cooking spray or shortening. Make brownies as directed on box for 13x9-inch pan, using water, oil and eggs.
• Bake 23 minutes. Sprinkle with marshmallows; bake 5 minutes longer or until marshmallows are puffed and golden. Sprinkle with candies.
• In small microwavable bowl, microwave chips and shortening uncovered on High 15 seconds; stir. Drizzle over bars. Cool completely, about 1 hour. For easier cutting, use plastic knife dipped in hot water. For bars, cut into 6 rows by 4 rows.

CELEBRATION BROWNIE MIX IN A JAR

Steps:

• Layer all ingredients except liqueur in order listed in 2 quart jar with screw on lid.
• Attach liqueur bottle to the jar with a ribbon. include instructions.

• grease bottom only of square 8x8x2 or 9x9x2 inch pan with shortening.
• Melt 1/2 cup butte or margarine.
• Beat melted butter, 2 eggs and the liqueur in medium bowl with spoon till blended.
• Stir in celebration mix.
• Spread batter in pan.
• bake 8 inch for 30-35 minutes, 9 inch pan 25-30 minutes till the edges are dry and toothpick comes out almost clean.
• Cool completely, about 1 hour.
• For brownies, cut in 4 rows.
