- In a large skillet, cook and crumble beef over medium heat until no longer pink, 4-6 minutes; drain. Add water and one envelope taco seasoning; cook until thickened. Cool slightly., Beat sour cream, cream cheese and remaining taco seasoning until blended. Spread in a 3-qt. dish; add ground beef. Top with lettuce, cheddar, tomatoes, pepper and olives.

- Preheat oven to 350°F
- Crumble sausage into medium skillet. Cook over medium heat until browned, stirring occasionally. Drain off any drippings. Spread beans in ungreased 2 ½-quart shallow baking dish, then top with sausage.
- Pour salsa over sausage; sprinkle with cheeses.
- Sprinkle olives and onions over top. Bake 20 to 30 minutes or until heated through. Spread with sour cream while hot and serve with chips.
- Refrigerate leftovers; reheat in oven or microwave.
- Makes 12 to 16 appetizer servings.

- First, you want to cook the onion and the beef. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the onion saute for 2 minutes, then add the ground beef and half of the taco seasoning. (Save the rest of the taco seasoning, you will need it). Stir the meat to break it up and to evenly distribute the taco seasoning. Once the beef has browned, set it aside.
- Pour the refried beans into an 8 inch square baking dish (or similar). Spread into an even layer.
- In a small bowl, mix the cream cheese and the remaining taco seasoning together. Then spread over the refried beans.
