Steps:
- Cut the cabbage and carrots finely in strips.
- Heat the chicken broth in a large casserole.
- Add the cabbage and carrots.
- Let boil 20 to 25 minutes.
- You can add seasonning to your own taste.
- I tried with red cabbage and I won't do it again cause the color is not inviting.

- Break vermicelli into 1/2-inch pieces.
- Heat oil in large saucepan. Add onion and vermicelli and cook, stirring constantly, until vermicelli is brown and onion is clear.
- Add remaining ingredients and bring to boil.
- Simmer 10 minutes, until vermicelli is cooked and carrots and celery are done, stirring often.

- In a wok or skillet, heat oil over low heat. Add onion and cook until onion is transparent (about 1 minute). Stir occasionally.
- Add chicken broth and vermicelli. Raise heat to medium and bring mixture to a slow boil. Continue boiling for 5 minutes. Reduce heat to low.
- Add cabbage and simmer another 5 minutes. Stir in sherry.
