Slow Cooker Round Steak Made Easy Food

SLOW-COOKED ROUND STEAK

Steps:

• In a large resealable plastic bag, combine the flour, salt and pepper. Add beef, a few pieces at a time, and shake to coat. In a large skillet, brown meat on both sides in 4 teaspoons oil. Place in a 5-qt. slow cooker., In the same skillet, saute onion in remaining oil until lightly browned; place over beef. Combine the soup, oregano and thyme; pour over onion. Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours or until meat is tender.

EASY CROCK POT ROUND STEAK

Steps:

• Spray your crock pot with cooking spray
• Take your steak and cut it into 5 serving size pieces
• Put your steaks into your crock pot
• Pour in your soup mix, water and soup
• Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours

ROUND STEAK IN THE CROCK POT

Steps:

• Preheat the slow cooker while you prepare the rest of the ingredients.
• Spread half the onions and mushrooms on the bottom of a slow cooker, followed by the steaks. Sprinkle the steaks with the onion soup mix, flipping them over to coat both sides with the seasoning.
• Spread the remaining onions and mushrooms on top, then pour in the beef broth.
• Cover and cook on low for 8 hours. Remove about 1/4 cup of the juices from the crock pot. Whisk in the cornstarch to form a slurry. Stir the slurry back into the slow cooker, turn the heat up to high, and continue to cook uncovered, stirring occasionally, another 15-20 minutes, or until juices are thickened. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

SLOW COOKER TENDER AND YUMMY ROUND STEAK

Steps:

• Place the potatoes, onion, and carrots in slow cooker. Cut steak into six pieces, then place the meat on top of vegetables. In a mixing bowl, combine the soup mix, soup, and water; pour over beef.
• Cover, and cook on Low for 7 to 10 hours.

CROCK POT ROUND STEAK

Steps:

• Combine all ingredients in crock pot.
• Cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 5-6 hours.
• Goes well with mashed potatoes (makes a wonderful gravy!).

ROUND STEAK SAUERBRATEN

Steps:

• In a 5-qt. slow cooker, combine the gravy mix, brown sugar, 2 cups water, onion, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce and bay leaves. , Sprinkle beef with salt and pepper; stir into gravy mixture. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until meat is tender. , Combine cornstarch and remaining water until smooth; stir into beef mixture. Cover and cook on high for 30 minutes or until thickened. Discard bay leaves. Serve with noodles.

SLOW-COOKED ITALIAN ROUND STEAK

Steps:

• Trim all fat from meat; cut steak into 1-inch pieces Put meat into a 4-quart slow cooker.
• Add in carrots, celery, mushrooms, green onions, undrained tomatoes, beef broth, wine, tapioca, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and bay leaf.
• Cover and cook on LOW for 9-10 hours.
• Season to taste with salt and pepper; discard bay leaf.
• Serve over hot cooked noodles.

SLOW COOKER SWISS STEAK

Steps:

• In a shallow bowl, mix the flour, salt, and pepper. Lightly coat the round steak pieces in the flour mixture.
• Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat, and saute the celery, onion, and carrots about 5 minutes, until tender. Remove from heat, and set aside. Mix in the round steak pieces, and cook until lightly browned.
• Place the vegetables and steak in a slow cooker. Mix in the tomatoes with juice, Worcestershire sauce, and brown sugar.
• Cover, and cook 8 to 10 hours on Low, until the round steak is very tender.
