Steps:
- Cut beef into 6 serving-size pieces; sprinkle with seasoned salt and pepper. Layer beef and onion in 3- to 4-quart slow cooker. Pour pasta sauce over top.
- Cover and cook on Low heat setting 8 to 9 hours.
- About 20 minutes before serving, stir in tortellini and zucchini. Increase heat setting to High. Cover and cook 15 to 20 minutes or until tortellini are tender.

Steps:
- Trim all fat from meat; cut steak into 1-inch pieces Put meat into a 4-quart slow cooker.
- Add in carrots, celery, mushrooms, green onions, undrained tomatoes, beef broth, wine, tapioca, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and bay leaf.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 9-10 hours.
- Season to taste with salt and pepper; discard bay leaf.
- Serve over hot cooked noodles.

CROCK POT SMOTHERED STEAK
Steps:
- Put the steak pieces in a bag with the flour and shake to coat.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or sauté pan over medium-high heat (or the crock pot insert if it is stovetop safe) and brown the steak pieces on all sides. Place the steak in the crock pot insert if you didn't use it for browning it.
- To the steak add the bell pepper, sliced onion, and drained sliced mushrooms, if using.
- Combine the tomatoes with the soy sauce, garlic powder, black pepper, and crushed pepper, if using. Pour over the steak and vegetables.
- Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours, or on high for 4 to 5 hours.

Best beef stew I've ever made! I apologize for the vague instructions, the ingredient amounts are approximate as well as I did this over the weekend but did not note amounts. It turned out so good I wanted to save what I did so I could make again! Chicken broth can be used instead of beef broth if desired.

- Cut steak into serving-sized pieces; place in a 5-qt. slow cooker. In a large bowl, combine the tomato sauce, soup mix, oil, vinegar, oregano, garlic powder and pepper; pour over meat. Scrub and pierce potatoes; place over meat. Cover and cook on low for 7 to 8 hours or until meat and potatoes are tender. , Remove meat and potatoes; keep warm. - Place steak on work surface; sprinkle with Italian seasoning, salt and pepper. Top with onion slice halves. Roll up beef, jelly-roll fashion, with onion inside; tie with string.
