3 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, cubed
2 cans (6 ounces each) lump crabmeat, drained
4 green onions, chopped
1/4 cup 2% milk
2 teaspoons prepared horseradish
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon salt
Baked pita chips and assorted fresh vegetables

Steps:

  • In a greased 3-qt. slow cooker, combine the first 7 ingredients. Cook, covered, on low 3-4 hours or until heated through, stirring occasionally. Serve with chips.

16 oz. crab. imitation or 6 oz. crab meat drained
10 3/4 oz. cream of celery soup, canned
1 green onion, chopped
3/4 tsp. lemon juice
2 tsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Optional: 1 1/2 T. sugar

Steps:

  • In a 3 - 4 quart slow cooker, mix all the ingredients together. Cover. Cook on Low for 2-3 hours. Serve with fried wontons or crackers and/or chips.

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup mayonnaise
4 green onions, finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 can (6 ounces) crabmeat, drained, flaked and cartilage removed
1/2 cup sliced almonds, toasted
Assorted crackers

Steps:

  • In a 1-1/2-qt. slow cooker, combine first 5 ingredients. Stir in crab. Cook, covered, on low 2-3 hours, until heated through., Just before serving, sprinkle with almonds. Serve with crackers.

Closely based on Cooks Illustrated's Creamy Crab Dip for the slow cooker. Works best in a small slow cooker. This dip has a TON of crab flavor!

Number Of Ingredients 9

3/4 cup minced onion
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 teaspoons Old Bay Seasoning
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 lb crab claw meat
1 minced scallion

Steps:

  • Turn on slow cooker to high, add onion, butter, and Old Bay seasoning, and cook until onion softens, about 10 minutes.
  • While onion cooks, spread crab meat out on a paper towel-lined plate, check for any pieces of shell, and pat dry.
  • When onion is cooked, stir in cream cheese, mayonnaise, salt and pepper, and crab meat.
  • Continue to cook on high until heated through, about an hour.
  • Stir in minced scallion before serving.
