6 MINUTE CHOCOLATE CAKE

Steps:

• Preheat the oven to 375F. Lightly grease an 8-inch square baking dish. Set aside.
• In a medium bowl, whisk sugar, oil, water, and vanilla together until combined.
• Add flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
• Whisk in until just combined.
• Add the vinegar and stir just until combined. Don't overmix.
• Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
• Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
• Let the cake cool in the pan.

6 MINUTE CHOCOLATE CAKE

Steps:

• Pre-heat oven to 350℉ (180℃). Then, in a 9x9 cake pan, measure and blend throughly with a fork the flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, instant coffee powder, and salt. Next, make 3 indentations in the dry ingredients with your fork. Into the first, pour 6 tb. of oil. Into the second, pour 1 tb. vinegar. Into the third, pour 1 teaspoon vanilla. Then, over all ingredients, pour 1 cup of cold water or strong, cold coffee. Stir with a fork until evenly blended. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Serve alone, with whipped cream, ice cream, or your favorite frosting.

SIX-MINUTE CHOCOLATE CAKE

Steps:

• Preheat the oven to 375°F.
• Sift the flour, cocoa, baking soda, salt and sugar into an ungreased 8 inch square or 9 inch round baking tin.
• In a 2 cup measuring cup, measure and mix the oil, water or coffee and vanilla.
• Pour the liquid ingredients into the baking tin and mix the batter with a fork or small whisk.
• When the batter is smooth, add the vinegar and stir quickly. Pale swirls will occur where the vinegar and baking soda react. Stir just until the vinegar is even distributed throughout the batter.
• Bake for 25-30 minutes. Set aside the cake to cool.
• If you are making the glaze, reset the oven to 300°F.
• Melt the chocolate in small ovenproof bowl or heavy skillet in the oven for about 15 minutes. Stir the hot liquid and vanilla into the chocolate until smooth.
• Spoon the glaze over the cooled cake. Refrigerate the glazed cake for a minimum of 30 minutes before serving.

3-MINUTE MOLTEN DOUBLE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE

Steps:

• Stir together the oil and sugar in a 12- or 14- ounce ceramic, microwave- safe mug, using a fork. Stir in the egg yolk and vanilla, and then the sour cream. Stir in the baking powder and salt, and then the flour and cocoa powder.
• Stir in the chocolate chips and microwave on high for 1 to 2 minutes, depending on your microwave (in my microwave, 1 ½ minutes is just about golden). The cake is done when it rises above the edge of the mug (or close to it) and its top looks glossy and set, but not wet.
• Let cool briefly- it will collapse-sorry, but true. The center will be more molten-like than cake-like, very soft, and very hot-be careful! Enjoy ASAP with vanilla ice cream.
