14 oz caramels
1/3 c evaporated milk
1 box cake mix, german chocolate
3/4 c butter, melted
1/3 c evaporated milk
1 c nuts
1 c chocolate chips

Steps:

  • 1. Melt caramels with 1/3 cup evaporated milk. Mix together cake mix, butter, and 1/3 cup evaporated milk. Spread 1/2 of the cake mixture in greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake for 6 minutes. Sprinkle nuts and chocolate chips over baked cake. Drizzle caramel over nuts and chocolate chips. Crumble and pat on the remaining cake mixture and bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees. Remove from oven and while hot, cut into into 18 - 24 pieces. Delicious served warm. Let cool completely before storing in covered container.

1 1/2 cups flour
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter
1 teaspoon salt
1 (6 ounce) package butterscotch chips
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup corn syrup
1 cup cashews

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Mix the first four ingredients together.
  • Sprinkle mixture evenly, and press firmly, into the bottom of a 13 x 9 baking pan.
  • Bake for 15 minutes and remove from oven.
  • Melt butterscotch chips, butter, and corn syrup together.
  • Pour over baked crust, sprinkle on cashews. Cool and cut into squares.

These vegan cookie bars are soft and chewy dessert bars full of chocolate chips! Made in just one bowl, these cookie bars take just 25 minutes!

2 cups all purpose flour (gluten free, if needed)
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 flax eggs (Or 2 large eggs * See notes)
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup vegan butter (softened)
3/4 cup white sugar (** See notes)
1/2 cup brown sugar (*** See notes)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups chocolate (chopped)

Steps:

  • Prepare your flax egg by combining 2 tablespoons ground flaxseed with 6 tablespoons of water. Let sit for 10 minutes, for a gel to form.
  • Preheat the oven to 180C/350F. Line an 9 x 9-inch pan with parchment paper and set aside.
  • In a small bowl, add your flour, baking soda, and salt, and mix well. In a separate bowl, cream together your softened butter with sugars, using a stick mixer. Once smooth and creamy, add in the vanilla extract.
  • Gently add in the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Using a rubber spatula, fold through your chocolate.
  • Transfer your cookie bar mixture into the lined pan and bake for 25 minutes, or until a skewer comes out clean. Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan completely, before slicing into bars.

3 cups rolled oats
6 tablespoons flax seeds
1 cup dates (soaked in 1-2 C water-save water and use in recipe)
2 ripe bananas
1 cup unsweetened flaked coconut
2 tablespoons ground flax seeds (optional)
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon kosher salt (to taste)
1/2 cup raisins
3 tablespoons vegan butter (or neutral oil)
1/2 cup water
2 teaspoons vanilla
1/4 cup maple syrup (optional)
1 tablespoon oil
1 cup non-dairy chocolate chips (optional)
1/4 cup dried cranberries (optional)

Steps:

  • Soak dates in water for at least 30 minutes. Blend dates, soaking water and bananas until smooth.
  • Combine ground flax with 1/4 C warm water and stir. Let sit for 15+ minutes to create a "vegan egg." If not using ground flax grind your chia seeds before mixing into water.
  • Combine dry ingredients and mix in banana-date mixture and flax egg. Stir to combine and add water if needed.
  • Bake at 350 for 20 minutes in a 9x11 baking pan.
