Simple Summer Smoothie image

I just gathered together my favorite fruits and added what else was needed. If you like, use a multigrain bar (I use Entenmann's strawberry flavored), crumble it, and sprinkle some on top of each smoothie.

1 banana
1 cup frozen strawberries
1 cup frozen blueberries
1 cup frozen cherries
4 ice cubes
½ cup orange juice
¾ cup vanilla yogurt
½ teaspoon honey

Steps:

  • Place the banana, strawberries, blueberries, cherries, and ice cubes into a blender. Pour in the orange juice, vanilla yogurt, and honey. Puree until smooth.

1 frozen banana
¼ english cucumber, cubed
1 tablespoon pure matcha powder
1 ginger root, 1 inch (2 1/2 cm) piece
1 ¼ cups coconut water

Steps:

  • Put all ingredients into a blender.
  • Mix until smooth. Add more coconut water as needed. For a thicker consistency, add more ice.
  • Enjoy!

4 cups seedless watermelon, cubed
2 cups strawberries, hulled and halved (fresh or frozen)
1 cup vanilla yogurt
1 tablespoon agave nectar

Steps:

  • In the jar of a blender, add watermelon and strawberries. Put the lid on and process on medium-high speed until nicely blended.
  • Add vanilla yogurt, put the lid on and process. Depending on how sweet the fruits are, add agave nectar; process.
