BEST SLOW COOKER BROCCOLI CHEESE SOUP
This is a very creamy, cheesy broccoli soup. I adapted it from one that I found online to make it my own! Everyone loves this soup and I hardly ever have any leftovers! The more I make, the more they eat! Enjoy!

BROCCOLI CHEESE SOUP IN THE CROCK POT
This is a nice, creamy, comforting soup- and it's very easy to throw it all together in the crock pot. Add a sandwich or some dinner rolls, and you'll have a great dinner for cold nights! I made a few changes to a recipe taken from the "Fix It and Forget It Cookbook" to come up with this.

- Combine all ingredients in slow cooker and stir together.
- Cover and cook on low 4-5 hours.
- *Note:Do not overcook or broccoli will become mushy.

SLOW-COOKER CHEESY BROCCOLI SOUP
Steps:
- In a small skillet, heat butter over medium-high heat. Add onion; cook and stir 3-4 minutes or until tender. Transfer to a 3- or 4-qt. slow cooker. Add broccoli, broth, milk and pepper., Cook, covered, on low 3-4 hours or until broccoli is tender. Stir in process cheese until melted. Add shredded cheeses; stir until melted. Just before serving, stir soup to combine. Top servings with additional cheddar cheese.

- Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat; stir in onion and bell pepper. Cook and stir until the onion has softened and turned translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Combine condensed soup, milk, and ranch dressing mix in a slow cooker; whisk until combined. Stir in processed cheese food. Mix in broccoli, celery, carrots, and onion-bell pepper mixture.
- Cover and cook on Low, stirring occasionally, until cheese is melted, 3 to 4 hours.

SIMPLE BROCCOLI CHEESE SOUP FOR CROCK POT
This is my own recipe when all the others seemed much to complicated for what I wanted. Yes, it does use Velveeta. I found that real cheese didn't give it the texture or taste that I was looking for.
