1 tube (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent rolls
3 tablespoons butter, melted
1-1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried oregano
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

Steps:

Preheat oven to 375°. Separate crescent dough into eight triangles. Roll up from the wide end and place point side down 2 in. apart on an ungreased baking sheet. Curve ends to form a crescent., Combine butter, garlic powder and oregano; brush over rolls. Sprinkle with cheese. , Bake until golden brown, 10-12 minutes. Serve warm.

These are so simple it's silly, but my husband loves them so much I thought I'd post this. I like them, too! I've tried making these a few different ways, but I believe good old processed American cheese singles works the best for this - it's clean and easy to measure and roll up, and it melts perfectly during the allotted baking time. You can skip the cooking spray and foil if you want and just bake these directly on the baking sheet, but I like to do it this way because it makes clean up easier, and any leftovers can be stored and reheated right in the foil.

1 (8 ounce) package refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
2 slices process American cheese
garlic powder, to taste
butter-flavored cooking spray (optional)

Steps:

Preheat oven to 375F; line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil and spray with butter flavored cooking spray.
Unroll crescent roll dough and separate into 8 triangles; sprinkle each with garlic powder.
Cut or divide each cheese slice into quarters to make 8 small squares of cheese.
Cut or fold one piece of cheese in half; stack the halves on top of each other and place them on the bottom end (the flat side directly opposite the side with the thinnest point) of one crescent triangle; roll triangle up starting with this end.
Fold the two side points of the dough towards the center of the dough so that all three triangle points are on the same side; place roll on the sheet with the points facing down.
Repeat for each dough triangle and bake for 11-13 minutes or until golden.

1 8 oz can crescent rolls
4 mozzarella string cheese
1/2 stick salted butter
1 tbsp finely minced garlic
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tbsp grated parmesan

Steps:

Prepare Crescent Rolls- Preheat oven to 375F. Unroll crescent dough and cut along the pre-made seams so that you have 8 triangles. In a microwave or small saucepan, melt butter. Stir minced garlic & Italian seasoning into melted butter. Using a basting brush, brush unrolled crescent dough. (Leave some butter for the tops!)
Add Cheese & Roll- Cut each string cheese in half so you have 8 pieces. Place one piece of cheese at the large end of a crescent dough, fold edges over cheese, and roll (like you would a burrito). Repeat with this process with remaining cheese and dough.
Butter & Bake- Place crescent rolls seam side down on a parchment lined baking sheet and brush the tops with more butter. Bake 12-16 minutes until golden brown. Top with grated Parmesan & enjoy!
